My idea for a prequel film

>Begins with Tyrion being birthed and we see his mother and Tywin's wife die immediately
>We then see Tywin raise Tyrion with lots of hatred for him
>We see the early years of Jaime and Cersei developing their forbidden romance
>We see Jaime be the only one who truly cares for Tyrion while the others keep putting him down and making fun of him
>We see a lot of background info about the Lannister family and their history roots
>We jump to the era of the Mad King as the movie ends with Jaime going up to communicate with Mad King (since we know the rest and have the flashback of Mad King's death on show anyway).

Just touching the coins doesn't give you the curse. You have to remove them from the chest in order to get the curse on yourself. He took it so when he fought Barbossa, no matter what happened, he wouldn't be killed.

No one except Will saw him pocket one of the coins. Will even says something along the lines of, "So this was your plan all along! Ever since you learned my name."

Barbossa trusted Jack for that brief moment when Jack was doing his little deal about turning Will in and having Barbossa's men slaughter the British dudes on the boat.

Now this I'm not sure about. There was some time between Jack being stabbed and the curse being lifted whereas Barbossa was shot immediately prior so maybe that's why.

This is one of the best adventure movies ever. The series steadily declined after Black Pearl to utter shit.

Qhorin Halfhand easily relearned how to fight and was the best fighter in the Night's Watch, despite being old too.

So what's the logic behind Jaime being bad? I get that he will never be as good as before, but him 'not being able to beat a stable boy' makes no sense. Isn't he supposed to regain at least a part of his swordsmanship skills? it isn't all about muscle memory
