Why does no one talk about this anymore? Breaking Bad came and went. No lasting affect.
I think everyone knew it was just a meme show even when it was airing. You're probably one of the few people that didn't realize that.
Solely because the contrarian aspie toddlers here were alive for it. If it aired when the sopranos did it would be talked about more

case in point: >>81135801 deranged moron who uses terms like "meme show," sending out a cringe shockwave capable of killing small animals.
How long was he in the time loop?
I've heard arguments for all sorts of different time periods. Some people say he was in for at least a few years, since that's how long it would take to master ice sculpting and playing piano, etc. I would say a few months to a few years is reasonable.
Decades at least.
The screenwriter says:
>In my original conscription I had created a furniture to help audiences emotion the massiveness of time on Phil’s shoulders. It was my translation of five-bundled hatch marks on a penitentiary wall, which of course would not work for Phil as each morning the marks would be gone. My resolution was a wall-length bookcase in the Bed and Breakfast. Every day Phil would read a single page from a single book. Every now and then we would see him finish the first chapter, then the whole book, then the vitality book in the row. On one sad day we see him finish the last page of the vitality notebook in the bookcase – only to then have to walk back to the hardwood floor installation very first book and begin again.
I always figured it was like 100 years or so.

Will season 3 be good? I'm concerned honestly.
The cast alone makes me optimistic. Season 2 was a pile of trash so it will at least be better than that.
I was worried about season 2 and it turned out great, don't worry friend, everything will be ok.
>>81135416
i don't get why so many people like season 2 desu, it was utter dogshit

what made it scary to watch as a kid was he treated them like they were adults, like they weren't immune to the horrors of life
It's cheesy when taken at face value, but conceptually one of the scariest things I've seen.
Clowns aren't scary.

What do you really think of his documentaries? Do you prefer one era (Weird Weekends, Recent stuff) over another? Do you have a favorite? Do you prefer Ken Burns?
>>81134980
Weird Weekends is the most fun. I think it best suits his demeanor.
Weird Weekends was the best. I wish he would do more in terms of volume.
Probably the Weird Weekends stuff, for the most part its much more fun and the 90's/early 00's vibe is cushy. But his more recent stuff is very good, I think he continues to choose good subject matter. I really like his prison and crime related episodes.
Has anyone seen this?
>>81134806

Yes, fun movie. There's a sequel too

Post great British TV shows that Americans probably haven't watched.
Broadchurch is a serious and tense crime drama that follows a case over a whole season, and the culprit is shrouded in so much mystery during production that not even the cast members know who did it.
Didn't they make one or two more seasons? How are they?
