How was he supposed to be the bad guy? Baby was just as much of a criminal as he was and Buddy literally did nothing wrong towards him until Baby got his wife killed by being a self-righteous asshole.
As a Mad Man fan I was just really happy that Jon Hamm ended up being the final boss of the movie. Also, their heists would have gone much smoother if Jamie Foxx's character didn't flip the fuck out every 5 seconds. Made his death that much more satisfying.
Jon Hamm killed lots of people including cops

What do you mean by this "bad guy" baby speak?
What kind of person do you have to be to enjoy a movie like this? I watch movies for entertainment and to disconnect from the real world, and this is pretty much the opposite of entertainment. It's just boring melodrama for over two hours. It's like listening to your girlfriend talk about her shitty ex and their breakup/divorce over and over again.
I agree.

I initiallly had the same reaction as you: 'Wow, this movie is a total debbie downer". After thinking on it some more, and thinking a film (Arrival) that dealt with similar themes, depression and grief, I came to the conclusion that the movie wasn't the problem--I was. I've yet to experience major grief in my life, and so I was unable to empathize with the character or the issues explored in the film. I am probably not the average human being though. I'm young, estranged from family, have no real friends, and generally in a bubble. So to be a charitable as possible, this movie wasn't aimed for someone like me. But I'm sure, some day, when I'm older and the folks that I do know die, then maybe I will 'like it' a bit more.
tl;dr no one watches tragedies/sad movies for entertainment--they watch them for catharsis and to help their own emotional development. It's important to be know how others deal with grief, because it is part of the human condition.

John Hughes just has a way. He makes interesting characters and puts them in relatively simple situations or average situations and makes those situations extraordinary.
Same with Sixteen Candles, simple story, but great characters and situations that really suck you in.
I guess it helps that 80s teen movie music is arguably the greatest music genre ever.
So Stannis LITERALLY left Dragonstone empty? Like, turned off the lights, closed the doors and left? wtf?

Will Tarantino ever give us a cool crime drama like Jackie Brown again?
>>85065861
No, Proto-Millenials hated it expecting Pulp Fiction and he decided to stop trying and just do the same shit over and over again.

would ass to ass be wholly unpleasant for some reason? I mean, it'd probably be hard to keep it in without some practice, but I'd imagine some girls being in to it or at least be willing to give it a try. I just imagine a giant sloppy shit covered dildo falling on to the stage and bumming everyone out. idk why these guys would want to see that and not just want to fuck her.
