The autism is off the charts.
Not even Khan Academy can teach you how to measure such levels of autism.
>>
How good is khan academy when it comes to science? I haven't done science since I've dropped out of high school and don't remember anything at all about science. Is it a good place for beginners when it comes to science?

There was some worksheet I found here a while ago called integrals from hell with a bunch of difficult integral problems. that I lost. I'm looking to practice basic integration inside-out for my calc2 class so if anyone had that worksheet or anything similar that'd be much appreciated.

Protip: Gas is fluid. The atmosphere is being pushed down to the earth. Now, consider a jar of water in the ocean. It is clearly "heavier" than a jar of air in the ocean which would rapidly rise to the top. Therefore, the weight of the fluid inside the jar is significant.

1) Are economics and anthropology the hardest or "most legitimate" of the social or soft sciences.
2) What makes a social science "harder"?
3) Why do sociology and psychology degrees attract so many brainlets?

it is not about how hard they are, its about how useful they are, modern economics its game ruled by jews an modern civilizations can grow up without anthropology.

Hola, sci. I'm finishing up undergrad within the next year, and I want to know what, in your opinion, are some courses I shouldn't leave without taking. My interests include Physics, CS and Math. I want to more know about amazing courses that would also lead to employable skills in industry. So what's the word?

take complex variables, a quantum mechanics class, an upper level statistics class
>>
Linear systems, Digital Signal Processing and Random Signal Variables to leave your plebeian understanding of your surroundings. If you have to choose one go DSP.

Machine learning is also pretty cool if your universty offers an acceptable one, none of that coursera bullshit, it can have more than enough rigor.

You said you a finishing undergrad but that doesnt tell me anything. What is your main focus and what level of courses did you take for physics, math, and CS?

Hey /sci/, what resources do I use to get through Linear Algebra, Machine Learning and the coding necessary for it as soon as possible? My language of choice is Python.
I want to know what exactly do I need to learn (what parts of math and stats), and what resources will explain it most effectively (without too much theory/bull).

I need some pharmacology advice med students. I'm abusing a certain drug. If I take one dose of 200 mg, then according to the half life(I'm a mathematician, I'm using a mathematical model which I assume has to be somewhat inaccurate but in general accurate) after some hours I have 100 mg in my system, if I redose with 100 mg will I feel the same effects like the first time I took it a couple hours ago? Or will the new 100mg not act additively with the old 100mg in my system? I assume the onset will be faster as the last time 200mg were gradually absorbed while the second one it will start from 100 then go up from there but is there any other difference?

I'm tired of this debate, /sci/

Is the guillotine painless ? Some people claim you can still live for entire seconds after your neck was cut off, others says you die instantly, and I have yet to see anyone show me any study to back up their claim.

So what is it ?

IIRC, in France when it was first done, the executor requested a sentenced person to try to blink after their head was cut off, and IIRC they blinked for about 10 seconds.
>>
>>8121459
does it really matter? How much pain can you actually feel from that anyway?
Is it worse than being tortured for a few seconds?

How much pee should the average man pee out on an average day ( drinking 2 litres of liquid, not sweating or making too much effort)? If you pee more than 1.5 l, does it mean you're drinking too much water?
16 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Drinking a lot of water isn't harmful unless you drink like 5 liters in one go.
>>
just drink when you're thirsty.
Have a bottle at your disposal at all times.

I remember when I was younger, I didn't have water next to me so most of the time I would just wait it out when I felt a little thirsty.

Now I have water next to me at all times and I surprised myself at how much I was drinking.

You can't pee "too much" (unless you have diabetes lol), on the contrary, you get rid of the ammonia and other undesirable stuff.
You can't drink too much if you don't force yourself and don't drink 2L in one sitting (water intoxication that decreases the concentration of sodium in your blood, potentially putting you in a coma)
>>
>>8121363
>>8121367
The thing is I don't want to go the bathroom unless necessary, so I want drink as little as possible. I measured my pee output recently, and sometimes I was peeing 900ml in one sitting, so it got me thinking, am I drinking more than I need? If my body doesn't retain it, it must mean I don't need it.
