why
they looked better like a scrambler. not the 4 door
>>17286509
Crack is a miracle drug
I want one
Why doesn't China sell it's card here?
Because a car called the Dongfeng Hyonchong Excelsior Deluxe wouldn't sell well in 2017 America.
They can and they are in 2018 I believe
But not that model
If the QC is right, they might not be bad cars
>>17286213
If only you could sell it under another name.

Could be worse. Could be a greybeard annihilating your windshield with a get back.
That's a nice door panel you got there, be a shame if something happened to it.
Koreans are the new japs.

I rather listen to the market than bunch of busriders on a Vietnamese dogcooking forum
>>17286061
>I rather listen to the market
the market is comprised of the average person and the average person is a fucking retard. not that 4chan is much better but I'd rather listen to someone in the industry who works on several different brands.
Should I buy it?
honestly?
its more jeepy than most jeeps right now
>>17285984
It's not a "Jeep". If you're going to buy a money pit, you might as well get something that looks good and can fulfill it's function. These are just "rugged" SUV's for a 40 year old wife to bully her husband into buying because she doesn't like the look of a wrangler.

>Buying a cheap Italian car
Gee anon, I don't know if you should or shouldn't
Wrinkle your snobby little noses all you want -- for a daily driver, keyless entry combined with push-button start is the most incredible set of conveniences you can get on a car. Not having to search, fumble, or fuck with your keys a single time during the entire driving process is godlike.
Name 1 (ONE) car accessory or feature set that comparably reduces the pain in the ass of a daily commute.
You can't.
>>17285829
Yeah it's so hard to jam the key in a hole and turn it
>>17285833
don't be rude towards OP. he is obviously autistic & has difficulty with his motor skills. for a challenged individual, push button start is superior.

6 point vs 12 point wrenches
What do you use, /o/?
>>17285778
whatever they use at the garage I take my car to
12 point because sometimes you simply don't have the room to utilize a 6 point
Didn't we have this thread yesterday but about socket bits
I know /o/ hates people who smoke in their cars, but do you make an exception for cigar smokers?
I don't make an exception for anyone
You don't smoke or you gtfo, I'm not going to let a cancer victim stink up my car

Cigars smell even worse...
Only vape.

bought this a few months ago. Just got back from an 800 mile road trip for memorial weekend
Buy a grand touring car
Go rallying
Never go on a highway
How they get away with this?
what the fuck are you smoking

What
>>17284470
Americans and anything that isn't child/retard proof. Fucking hell. No wonder all their engineers and scientists are import. All they've got is smart jews and lots of tax money.
Is there any other car that will run after a electromagnetic pulse?
>>17284173
Pretty much every car...
Faraday cages are standard and have been for a long time.
>>17284180
If an rmp goes off your engines computer takes a fat shit. Hows it supposed to run after the computer and ignition coils are cooked?
>>17284173
You would need points instead of CDI. Im sure you could get the electronic parts you would need in some sort of EMP bag, but I would choose a motorcycle instead of a car.
Post the latest interesting/unique car you've seen. I'll start: saw this at a local Cars and Coffee event
nice gmilf, more
i spotted this thing, can someone tell me what it is?
Ill post a couple of mine
>>17283612
worse than a 3k civic.
They can fuck right off with their cookie cutter angry face.
Real mazdas looked hyped as fuck
My dad has the 2016 grand touring and it's a really nice car. Drives really nice, just don't crash it right after you get it while turning left like my dad did or your paint won't match properly.
If you had to choose one to drive, which would it be, /o/?
>>17283052
F1...
The one that goes straight when I not turning the wheel
I'm gonna be the guy to actually say NASCAR. An F1 car is an incredible piece of engineering, but I have driven very fast vehicles on road courses before. I've never driven a purpose built oval car on an oval, however, and I think that'd be cool.
What are you getting done this long weekend /o/?
Shipped out the last parts from my totaled G37 sedan. All in all, came out $2500 ahead. So I guess that's pretty good.
Coilovers should be here this week.

I have such bad luck when it comes to wrenching that I am absolutely convinced that I genetically lack the aptitude for this type of work. I spent two hours prepping (and hundreds of dollars on the right tools and replacement parts) to replace the steering head bearings in my motorcycle. I watched all the videos, printed out careful instructions, and had a laptop right next to me so I could do it flawlessly.
Well, things got hairy pretty fucking quick since removing the races is a relatively physical job. I finally got them out and scratched the shit out of my steering head column (in the frame) which people tell me is bad but I think they are just being idiots. The bearings roll against the race, not the smoothness of the frame, so that shouldn't matter. I scratched the shit out of it but I got both races out.
I go to put in the new race and I put the fucking thing in backwards.
BACKWARDS
If you know anything about races, these are an interference fit meaning they have to be hammered in with a decent amount of force. The fit is so tight and flush that the only way to get these out is using these tiny grooves the factory makes in the seat. However, when the race is reversed, you obviously can't use these grooves.
So I said fuck it. Ripped apart the whole motorcycle and parting it out.

Made new a lower interior panel for my 76' C10 passenger side door, and bedlinered the upper panel. Found a crank handle for the passenger side as well, +5 comfort for them.
