Depends on the weight. i prefer something like 3000-3300 lbs and around 320 HP. there are cars that could go under 3000 lbs and would be great with V6s but they are either kit-cars or carbon fiber tubs like the 4C.
i like the idea of a 400 HP V6 but forced induction has to be involved and id really rather go the light naturally aspirated route.

To start off, I am getting rid of my Lamin-x type "golden yellow" film and spraying on some Krylon stained glass yellow to make a superior selective yellow lamp. I got tired of the GT look in bright sun, it doesn't mesh well with ambers black pearl metallic paint.
Pics related use Krylon, it looks very deep and consistent.

I got to drive a 996 GT3 at a track yesterday and now I understand why people love them so much.
I'm not a pro or super experienced driver, so I tried to be as slow and smooth as possible when I drove it. My buddy showed me how to drive it correctly, which was just "slow in fast out", but he really emphasized it. But towards the end, when I got a little bit more confident, I picked up the pace. It fucking ROCKETS out of corners like none other. The GT3 I drove only had 400 hp at best (intake/exhaust) but it felt like it had so much more. I could get on the power so much earlier compared to other cars, although my base of reference was a track-modified 07 Mustang GT.
I really want one now. If this is "just" the GT3 with no turbo, I could only imagine what a GT2 can do.

Why did Mazda use a 2.5 Liter four cylinder engine in the Mazda3 series? That level of displacement is not only unusually high from Mazda but also in the context of a four cylinder engine. Mazda is known for being a weird company but what possible reasoning could they have had for this?
