Who else is hyped for the new Ford Ranger?
any idea when we're going to get more information? all I've heard so far is that it might get a diesel, and it will look different than the global version that's out right now
another shitty mid sized truck for fat cunts to haul their kids around the suburb in, great

Do you ever think about just saying fuck it and drive off into the night?

I recently bought a mk6 gti and have been looking at tunes for the past couple days, but the more I read into it the tougher the decision becomes. I hear plenty of good things about APR, Unitronic and Eurodyne but every one of them seems to have some kind of fatal flaw, also I can't get a clear answer on whether or not a flash back to stock protects you from getting a TD1 flag. If I do decide to tune it I was leaning towards APR because it comes free with a downpipe so I can go stage two for cheap but I don't want to shell out all the cash for a new clutch when the fuckload of torque grenades the stock one.
Should I even bother?
>>17296886
Have you tried skimming the head and custom headers?
>>17296913
i don't browse this board a lot but I'm assuming this is a meme post
eurodyne is good if you want to blow up your turbo quick
>tfw the more you look around for a nice looking 2dr car,the more you realize that 2 doors got unsalvagably ugly soon as 2010 rolled around and you don't want to buy anything higher than that now
Jesus christ what went so wrong? You've got grilles that aren't detailed properly enough, headlights trying too hard to look "sharp", and round almost obese bodys.
If it wasn't for the fact that you can just hire some beaner to give your 1990s artifact some bluetooth i'd lose it.
they were worse before 2010, that hyundai coupe was ugly as fuck, although that grille bumper is ridiculous
gt86, brz, mx-5 rf are all cheaper but attractive sports cars
>>17296862
>tfw gonna buy a gt86 eventually and none of the benchracing busriders on /o/ can stop me
>tfw gonna have a blast driving that great nip car for at least 10 years because of great engineering and reliability
>tfw gonna shit all over everyone on the road because around here most people have normal cars with a maximum of 150hp
>tfw gonna shit all over higher hp cars too because 99% of the owners of such cars can only drive fast in a straight line
feels good to be better than everyone else tbqhwufamilia
>watch as busriders on /o/ start posting their memes
>watch as they post LMAO SLOWER THAN A MINIVAN LOOK MOM I POSTED IT AGAIN! xD
>watch as they get butt blasted because I will buy a car they will never get either because too poor or because of stigma

wowe really activated my almonds
Why do they make the brake pedal extra goofy big for autotragedies?
Are autofags that clumsy & unskilled that they not only cannot control a car with a standard gearbox but they also cannot even manage to aim their foot at a smaller standard sized brake pedal without missing it all together?
I'm sure the big pedal is so that clueless tards and ancient old people are less likely to get confused and mash the gas into a shop window. Why people like that are allowed to drive at all is beyond me.

>Paddlefags will tirelessly dispute this.

Driving drunk? Driving high? Street racing? Confess your sins, anon
>>17296162
Atleast you didn't leave your key in the ignition while you left it outside and drained the battery.
Do you eat in your car?
Yes but I don't eat shitter king
No, I would rather go in and have counter service and enjoy my lunch
Yeah usually on my 15 mile commute. Even in traffic it's not too difficult. I crawl 1st and 2nd gear lol
I tried to draw a C7 Corvette but it ended up looking like a GTR.
>>17295797
why are all those kinds of concept drawings have stupid huge rims?
>that fucking perspective
We have an artwork/critique board for a reason anon.
>>17295804
To make it look better on the paper I suppose? So that the head of design is pleased with his underly paid vehicle designer.
What's /o/'s favourite drink to drive with?
Water, doesn't interfere with my vape flavor

None, because my cupholders are ass.

Hey guys, Doug DeMuro here. What do you think of my show?

I made the thread that was posted to Oppositelock where ol' Doug actually saw it and was like "lol guess I'm doing something right!! XD

Im honestly thinking about buying an RX-7 FC as a daily driver. Not a big fan of rotaries, but I'm considering it anyways.
Redpill me.
>>17295040
Can't convince you otherwise, i think about getting an RX-8 because i am short on money and they sell cheaper but somehow they all seem to have issues with the ignition.
2k for an rx-8 challenge in good condition without rust and 55 miles plus i get a bit for my old junk, the car is said to not always start so i either have to deflood the engine, change the plugs or in the worst case replace the ignition coils (around 200)
Should i do it?
>>17295040
Apex seals
It's a fine DD as long as you have a second vehicle or another way to get around if it does need to be serviced. But I guess thats the same regardless of the car in question, two vehicles is better than one
Why is there no market for luxury pick up trucks?
Because pickups aren't supposed to be fucking luxury cars. They're meant to be put to work.
>You're fucking gay if you drive a truck just to look cool
>>17294921
The higher trim F150s were better..
Trucks are so soft and cushy they don't need a luxury badge. The Ram has optional air suspension.
>lighter
>cheaper
>more fuel efficient
>more interior room
post yfw you realized fwd was indeed the superior drive layout
RWD hot hatches are cool
>>17294744
hot hatch? yes
>>17294723
the original? well i guess a gremlin is a hatch too
Will this finally fix the brz/frs?
We don't know enough details yet. Chassis-wise it appears to be the tS but they may put some F/I or something in it as well.
>>17294641
> but they may put some F/I or something in it as well.
No they won't, they aren't going to make an entire new bottom end, heads, and turbo system to sell a limited edition of a shitbox. They'll add 5hp, put a wing and some fins on it, add a cool badge and 5k on the pricetag, and boyracers will buy it.
>>17294648
Technically the WRX uses the same block, but they need to fit the turbo somewhere else. Also the tS is a lot more than an appearance package. It's like a DC2 type R vs a lower trim Integra chassis wise. I don't think it has a bunch of crazy stitch welds but there's different flexible/adjustable bracing and suspension tuning and a lot of little knick-knacks.
