Hey /o/, /his/ here.
I recently decided to help my cousin/roomate find himself a new car.
The guy's an absolute madman in an old Civic, but he says he's getting bored of it and wants to buy another car to tune while I use the civic as a DD.
I was helping him look for a car when the Sentra caught my eye (SER V-Spec, specifically).
I'm considering buying one for myself now, but that's beside the point.
Are they good for tuning?
Do they have an "active aftermarket scene"? (his words, not mine)
I haven't decided on the style yet, he likes the older ones from the early 2000s while I prefer the newer looking ones

It's a 2007 Audi A4. It's mine and I want to repair it.
1) How much would the repair of the door cost? I found a side mirror online for $79.
2) The car works just fine. The drivers' door doesn't open, but the other one does. Would it be drivable if I just install a side mirror and make sure the signal works? It took a huge impact, but it drives just fine.
3) Can I somehow remove the airbags? Raise the driver's seat back up? I don't think the window was broken but it doesn't pull up when I hit the button. Might it be locked somehow?

As a fag from another board whose looking for a cheap used car ($5000-$10000 range) what are your opinions on the reliability of different brands of cars as they've aged over the years? I'm mostly looking in the last decade vehicles, but all I know about car reliability is that Toyotas are good and Hondas are easy to fix.
I come to you so you can slap the crap out of me with your knowledge on basic reliability cause I don't trust those user reviews from sites like Edmunds (majority of them are just trying to justify themselves for buying that car) or all the shitty blogs making top 10 lists of the most reliable vehicles.

I almost got one but what killed it for me was the fact that they are slow as balls.
Being able to do 0-60 in under 15 seconds and go above 60mph were things i was not willing to sacrifice for its looks which was 80% of why i wanted it considering i dont have much time or money to go off-roading.
If you can live with the lack of performance and don't mind getting your hands a bit dirty on the weekend then i dont see why you couldn't daily it, i know plenty of rural folks by me that do.
