Advice on what to look at buying. I'm 20 make around 1300 a month have around 2,000 saved. Wouldn't be the one to pay my insurance. So what should I look at? I can get a cosigner since I will have no credit

Buy a used Civic or Accord. Yes, really.

Utah so fwd/awd required

...and I liked it.

Now if only I had better front end tyres, weather that wasn't biblical-level rain, maybe a little more horsepower...

I think I managed to pick up some speed as the day went on, even as the weather got worse and the TCS/ABS gave up after two laps and left me on my own to figure it out.

Still, Anyone any pointers for not being a mobile chicane while track driving? How do I git gud? With a focus on driving the same car home again.

What car?

The only real advice on the internet to give is to get access to an instructor. Saying anything else through text is pointless.
>>
>>13989672
Was an RX8.

It did well despite half the 'aids' crapping out after a lap in most session. Probably the ideal car for the conditions.

There were no instructors at this day - was a budget enough affair. Maybe next time I'm on a trackday I'll search one out.

I'm buying a new commuter for work. I went to a Mazda3 dealer and test drove a Mazda3 S Grand Touring and loved it, but when it came to negotiating a price the dealer wouldn't budge below invoice and I walked. Now I'm looking at alternatives.

Ford has a ridiculous deal of 3.5k off + 0% financing for 36 months on a 2016 Focus. What is /o/'s opinion on this car? I think the titanium hatch looks pretty nice but I wouldn't be surprised if you all think ecoboost is shit, or that the focus is a car for lesbians. Because I base all of my decisions on advice from 4chan I need help.

Woah wait. You can get below invoice? I'm eyeing the new Honda civic and wouldn't mind getting a lower than msrp
>>
The Focus hatchback is a fantastic car. What engine and transmission package are you considering?
>>
>>13989635
You can easily get below MSRP, invoice will depend on the situation. Invoice is not necessarily what the dealer ultimately paid for the car.

This was my first time negotiating the price on a new car and I'm not sure if I was asking for too much. MSRP was 26.7k, dealer would go as a low as 25.2k, I wanted 24k.

>>13989636
I'm looking at the titanium, which comes with the 2.0L Ecoboost and the 6 Speed Automatic standard. I've heard the 1.0L leaves a lot to be desired, so even if I go SE I'll get the 2.0L option.

Would you swap a 35th anniversary 350z with a 300hp revup engine, all the extra track pack stuff, 6 speed in immaculate condition, 100k miles, for a completely stock VSpec II R32 GTR?

Both cars are worth similar money

How do I import a uk spec 2003 Subaru Wrx right hand drive into the states? I'm dding one in Europe right now.

I'm in the military so they will ship it back for free without going through customs i think. What about when go to get it registered in the states and stuff though.

Dunno how to do it legally, if it's a trim level that was available here you should be able to just bring it through customs and they'll give you the paperwork.

I brought a few vehicles from Canada, but since the VINs between the countries use the same systems, I could just register them without going through customs

The feds would be all over me, but was np cause the only difference was them being in metric
