Just go to a detached garage anon. I made that compromise to save about 100k.
Side note, I had almost bought an old limo shop that had double height doors (4) and a separate paint booth. Had 3 bedrooms and a bath with a nice size living and dining room and kitchen. All for 73000. Needed replumbed but not a deal breaker, but the tuck pointing was a breaker.

Looking for a stylish, fast car that's maybe around 5k. Dad is an ex-dealership fag who thinks any used car but a honda or toyota will be a lemon.
What are some cars that satisfy his needs which are: low maintenance cost, will last me another 5 years, no major part replacement needed in those 5 years, or has atleast cheap parts available for it.

Realistically how much does it shorten an engine's life to occasionally rev it high and go WOT to accelerate?
