I honestly don't know who's telling the truth. The basis of the guy's argument is that the "hairs" from the tires made by the mold vents are missing (therefore the tires have been used). I was wondering do all new tires have these hairs or can you find new tires without them? The guy kinda acts like a bitch, mostly likely to seem like the victim for youtube.

Had a fairly cool story that actually had a happy ending, thought I would share with you guys
>Be me working, we just got in a really nice 2014 Silverado LTZ Z71
>parked truck front and center in the lot so people driving on the road can see it
>later that day, I see a guy pull in driving a 75' Vette
>seriously old guy gets out of car, walks in, and I go up to talk to him
>guy saw the Z71 from the road, wants to go out and take a look at the truck
>I walk him out, unlock truck, let him get in and check it out
>he walks around the truck, opens door, gets in, turns it on
>and boom, there it is....the look, you can see it in this old man's eyes
>it's something you see very very rarely, but it's fucking magical when it happens
>it's the look of someone who has found a car he is absolutely in love with

>not a car he wants
>not a car he needs
>he found a car he loves
>old guy asks me if we can drive it, I go in, grab a plate, and we take the thing out for a spin
>I start my small talk game with the guy, ask him about his 'Vette
>he bought it new in 75, has kept it all this time, only gets it out on nice weekends
>was the car he had when he met his wife and they got married
>she died of cancer a few years back, keeps it because it reminds him of her
>get on to why he wants a truck
>worked for the rail company his entire life, always had a truck as a company vehicle, but never actually owned one himself
>says as he's gotten old he's 'always had an itch to get one, just never found the right one yet

I know Toyota and Honda have a proven record for being reliable, but havent many other brands? It seems like everyone I talk to who isn't into cars just thinks anything that isnt toyota/honda is shit. Any thoughts /o/? Are they really just superior to the other jap,american companies?

early 90s to early 00s nissans are objectively reliable. a lot of high displacement american engines like chevy/ford blocks are reliable as fuck and easy to work on.
tl;dr no, honda and toyota aren't necessarily superior. they have their issues. normies have their opinions because brand loyalty and marketing. plenty of other brands make equally or more reliable products, and plenty of toyota and honda products have shit-tier quality issues.

Sato gives you a knowing grin. "The race last night was pretty late huh? Heh..."

"I'm not sure yet, but I'll have a look."
Flicking through the pages, Sato reaches a section lined with pink, the text MUFFLER at the top. There were quite a few choices. Sitting down, you continue sipping at the can of iced coffee as you flick through the pages, eventually getting a clearer idea of what you wanted.
