I honestly don't know who's telling the truth. The basis of the guy's argument is that the "hairs" from the tires made by the mold vents are missing (therefore the tires have been used). I was wondering do all new tires have these hairs or can you find new tires without them? The guy kinda acts like a bitch, mostly likely to seem like the victim for youtube.
https://youtu.be/hD87zmkrFUk
The easiest way to tell is to get a tread depth gauge and see what the difference is between the tires and the factory specs for them.
Until that's sorted out, he's just another youtube attention whore.

That's what I was thinking. He kinda looks like retard confronting the store with a baseless argument.

Had a fairly cool story that actually had a happy ending, thought I would share with you guys
>Be me working, we just got in a really nice 2014 Silverado LTZ Z71
>parked truck front and center in the lot so people driving on the road can see it
>later that day, I see a guy pull in driving a 75' Vette
>seriously old guy gets out of car, walks in, and I go up to talk to him
>guy saw the Z71 from the road, wants to go out and take a look at the truck
>I walk him out, unlock truck, let him get in and check it out
>he walks around the truck, opens door, gets in, turns it on
>and boom, there it is....the look, you can see it in this old man's eyes
>it's something you see very very rarely, but it's fucking magical when it happens
>it's the look of someone who has found a car he is absolutely in love with
>not a car he likes
>not a car he wants
>not a car he needs
>he found a car he loves
>old guy asks me if we can drive it, I go in, grab a plate, and we take the thing out for a spin
>I start my small talk game with the guy, ask him about his 'Vette
>he bought it new in 75, has kept it all this time, only gets it out on nice weekends
>was the car he had when he met his wife and they got married
>she died of cancer a few years back, keeps it because it reminds him of her
>get on to why he wants a truck
>worked for the rail company his entire life, always had a truck as a company vehicle, but never actually owned one himself
>says as he's gotten old he's 'always had an itch to get one, just never found the right one yet

Her name is Lisa.
She wasn't the most pretty thing you'd laid eyes on. Nor the smartest, but you decided to give her a chance anyway. You brought her home with you one day and she never left your side from that moment on.
She just had a way about her. A certain quality that made you feel comfortable. You knew she'd always be there for you no matter what. She would brave the toughest storms, coldest nights and keep you going through the tough times.
And when you began to realize that having the smartest or prettiest girl was childish in comparison, and that any other other girl could never give you that warm feeling in your heart.
You knew you made the right decision.

Why do they refuse to go higher than 305 HP? The car is getting heavier every year, yet its been the same 305 HP for 10 years almost.
Btw, its the same for the 2016 model

Hello /o/
I know Toyota and Honda have a proven record for being reliable, but havent many other brands? It seems like everyone I talk to who isn't into cars just thinks anything that isnt toyota/honda is shit. Any thoughts /o/? Are they really just superior to the other jap, american companies?
honda's automatics transmissions are generally terrible. many toyota engines drink oil.
early 90s to early 00s nissans are objectively reliable. a lot of high displacement american engines like chevy/ford blocks are reliable as fuck and easy to work on.
tl;dr no, honda and toyota aren't necessarily superior. they have their issues. normies have their opinions because brand loyalty and marketing. plenty of other brands make equally or more reliable products, and plenty of toyota and honda products have shit-tier quality issues.
>tfw I'm a normie looking to buy a 95 celica rev3
>no particular reason because I don't know shit, just want it
Would you buy one /o/?
>>14049028
>A huge number of entry level Hondas/toyota a sold when compared to other car makes because honda/toyota is inexpensive, So more of them are still around simply because more had been sold.
>you can neglect the engines and not do regular oil changes and somehow they are still okay. (I went 19,000km on a single oil change in my 04 saturn vue v6 because of laziness...only thing I noticed was it wouldn't hit V-tech as well because of low oil pressure)
>compared to other cars from japan most toyota/honda body's don't rust quite as much so that helps pass safty and keep them on the road... my 1990s legacy ran like a champ after 600,000km but the body rusted out so I had to scrap it.
Most cars can see very high mileage if they are treated right but Hondas/toyotas just seem to be a bit of a snowflake when it comes to surviving neglect and abuse.

Finally got the mags! Let's get this show on the road.
To recap, we left Sato in the middle of discussing options with Arikawa.
**************************
"And what if I wanted to spend a bit of money? Could I increase my performance even further?", you ask.
"That opens up a whole new world Arikawa-san!", Sato says with a wry smile. "For starters, we could look at a new exhaust system and intake filter to help free up the engine a bit. And if you wanted even more... we'd have to look at increasing your boost, maybe improving your fuelling and getting a plug and play ECU."
You wince. "Maybe not that far Sato-san. I'm getting docked this month..."
Sato gives you a knowing grin. "The race last night was pretty late huh? Heh..."
>>13999530
He walked over to a minifridge in the corner of the room, getting out two cans. Iced coffee, just what you needed to perk up. Giving one to you, he chuckles. "Office life never suited me. I much preffered using my own initiative, being my own boss. I loved cars, so I thought, why not start a garage?" He pointed over to a picture of a middle-aged couple. "My parents were a hurdle, to begin with. The idea of having their only son not be a salaryman... offended them, you could say. Once they saw how happy I was though...". A tight smile. "It only took 10 years for them to realise. Too late, really."
Sato wandered back around to the desk, pausing in front of a shelf. Running his finger down them, you hear an "Aha!", followed by Sato extracting a familiar volume.
"The Hyper Rev?", you ask.
"Of course. Just to give you an idea of what's out there in terms of exhaust systems. That is, if you want to go for one."
"I'm not sure yet, but I'll have a look."
Flicking through the pages, Sato reaches a section lined with pink, the text MUFFLER at the top. There were quite a few choices. Sitting down, you continue sipping at the can of iced coffee as you flick through the pages, eventually getting a clearer idea of what you wanted.
**************************
Ok then! Double-barrelled choice this time!
A) No stripping
B) Partial strip - Loss of rear seats, rear/boot trim plastics
C) Full strip - sound-deadening, carpets, stripped down doorcards, headliner removal BUT this will keep your car from you for a longer period of time
X) No exhaust upgrade
Y) Single tip exhaust (Full cat-back system)
Z) Double tip exhaust (Full cat-back system)
BY
A: It'll become unlivable for daily driving.
Z: I like me a nice dual tip. Bonus points for double duals. (pic related)
