I have a problem with a mechanic and I need some advice /o/.
I took my car in to have to have heads resurfaced, the block bored and milled, the gaskets replaced, and put back together.
While he was dragging his feet to get all this done, he filed for a lien on my car for a total of around $6400.
And so went to go pick up my car because it was supposed to be done. And he said he was waiting on a coolant pipe to come in because it was leaking.
So, I asked for a bill. He refused to print me out a bill. And wouldn't let me pay for it. So, I called the cops and they argued for over an hour and then he said he's closing up a. That I can pay for it Monday.
The cops got me a bill and it has numerous parts one there that I never agreed to and he never once told me it needed to be done or that he was going to do it. And pparently he is saying it was done two weeks ago and that I never came to pick it up and it was considered abandoned an now he's trying to get a possessory title for my car. He never told me that my car was ready an never called me to come an pick it up.
I've come to find out that he is a registered sex offender and had multiple judgements against him that he refuses to pay and no one has been able to force him to pay since he owns his own business. So, if I pay the full amount, get my car, take him to court, and he's judged to reimburse me. He just won't pay it and it'll cost me a few extra thousand dollars for an attorney.
How do I handle this shit storm?

Get an attorney. It's going to go there might as well get the ball rolling now.
Also try to sue him for everything you possibly can, emotional distress, say you lost wages because you couldn't get to work or some shit.
Also might be time to visit him in the middle of the night with a lead pipe and I'm not talking to fix the plumbing.

Besides a few exceptions, Toyota have always struggled with styling.
The face on modern Lexii is hideous.
The fact that they perhaps drive only 95% as good as the competition doesn't seem like an issue irl, I doubt many people take their C63 or M3 on track days, and personally I would trade it for the reliability and slightly softer edges.

I want to create a device to deter/harrass/kill tailgaters. Ideally, it will be a blinding light that comes out of the trunk; operated by 1 or 2 button (open/close trunk and on/off lights or dual function switches open&on/close&off); a device electrically powered to open and the hard part to close the trunk; also whether it should run off its own power or the car's battery. Let me know what you all agree to and I will definitely post pics in the future if you are interested.

HID would be simple im sure there are kits and everything for an easy install. Seems stupid to put them in the reverse lights. I still want normal light functions for everyday use and try to look inconspicuous. Seems like a cop might ask questions if there is blinding light if i have to back up. As of getting out of the way I live in New Jersey worst drivers ever! Never seen such idiots before.

Not a tie rod end. That thing is connected to his strut. Tie rod ends connect to steering knuckles.
Do you have original original or aftermarket rims. Plus those struts aint original. Your car may be sitting to low or needs a alignment.
