What the fuck, Canada
Ontario is dogshit. The land, the people, the culture. Nothing redeemable. I live in hamilton and know beyond a shadow of a doubt the world would be better if they carpet nuked from Windsor to kingston.
Also boomer tax or brown tax
>>17036336
Are you one of those bums I always see downtown?
Lol I paid 2k for my 89 325is
Just picked up my 403 block and heads, waiting to hear on a starting quote from the machine shop and go from there.
How'd your first builds go? What kinda budget did you keep?
>>17036049
in my experience, once you get a finalized budget in mind, double it, and you should be good for the first year and then you'll realize you should've used a different part in one of the beginning steps so you have to fight the urge to tear everything down and start over every day.
feels good man
Why do people on /o/ pretend they can build engines?
>>17036049
What year Olds car or Firebird?
I'm obsessed with this car and I'm so tempted to buy one. Thoughts on Mini Coopers? Would you ever own one?
I wouldn't own a new one, and I doubt I could fit in an old one.
>>17035838
>Would you ever own one?
No, but you would. So buy one.
Working with these daily(BMW dealership),and seeing alot of em in the workshops.. So no, i wouldnt own one.
You can only post in this thread if your car's 0-60 is sub 4.5 seconds

Would he be a Telsa driver today?

What's the point of giving a cheap shitbox such a glamorous name
Is it to make you feel important because you know you'll never actually amount to anything?

What are the best car movies? I'd prefer 90s and later but welcome all suggestions
Pic related because wood berry
>>17034672
Gone in 60 seconds is pretty good. Dust to Glory.
I understand why some /o/tists like Drive. It's because the main character has crippling autism and is a massive cuck.
>>17034672
American Graffitti
Mad Max
The Lively Set
Smokey and the Bandit
Thunder Road
Sorcerer
The Italian Job
Gran Torino
>>17034672
i love the old 90's cars
Does it bother anyone else when someone refers to a car by "[name]", rather than, "the [name]"?
>Incredible lease deals on Ram 1500
>Prius has been a very good car for me
>I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with Model S
things people do dont bother me
>>17034659
I've never heard anyone do this

Diesel or Gas?
>Looking at a UAZ Hunter now..
>>17033801
Diesel engines can run on crude oil so I think you know what to do
I have a 1998 honda civic with 156,000 miles amd auto trans. The transmission always jumps up or down a gear while I'm driving (not appropriate shift times) and sometimes when I press the gas, it just "kicks" the wheels instead of delivering the power normally. What is causing this? I thought civics were supposed to be really reliable until around the mid 250k range.
have you ever changed the transmission fluid
>>17033754
Well i just bought it, so I don't know if they changed it. It was a woman so probably not.
>>17033754
+1, you're supposed to change the trans fluid. Any idiot lights on?

The annual costs are high enough to pay for a lot of hire cars and ubers:
>registration and insurance $1000
>fuel $1000
>two DIY services $400
>parking permit $140
Plus probably some other bullshit like tires and wash/vacuuming costs thrown in. So that's well over $200 a month. I just don't think it's worth it br/o/s.
I'll buy it off you. How much?
>>17033585
then do it you stupid fuck, 1 less shitty poorfag driver on the road for me to worry about
>>17033585
Tried buying a more efficient car and living somewhere you don't need to pay to park on your own property?
