meme tier cars for yuropoors who cant afford anything else.
Equivalent of a lada for slavs or a buick for african and americans
>335HP/3400LBS
>Brembo brakes
>6-speed with short shifter
>faster around a track than base Mustang GT, Challenger Hellcat, or 370Z
>acceptable 5.0 second 0-60 time
>great sounding engine with dual-mode exhaust
>only 5k more than a BRZ
Is this the best all-rounder sports car you can buy right now? Is the visibility really that terrible?
>>17030683
The visibility on the last gen camaro was horrific, I would assume it's the same for the newer gen.
>>17030683
Yes the visibility is shit but I would be able to get over that
>buying a v6 camaro
V8 or bust.
Is this color car gay? im thinking of buying 2009/2010 a3
>>17030288
also anyone have experience with a3 of those years in general? i havent test driven it yet, im planning to do it next week. How differnt it is compared to audi a4?
>>17030297
>How differnt it is compared to audi a4?
Completely. It's basically a slightly nicer Golf.
>>17030300
So you saying i should get a4? my dad have a4, and i like how it drives, i was just thinking of saving few bucks and getting a3.
Total car noob here so excuse my ignorance.
So my parents, after 25 years of exclusively driving manual only, are considering buying a car with automatic transmission.
Since we live in Europe everyone is advising against it quoting a whole range of issues such as higher transmission failure rate, higher fuel usage, worse car performance, and so on. How true is it?
Are modern (last 5 years) automatic transmissions still suffering from such issues? I have literally never seen a car with automatic transmission so I know nothing about it.
Only do it if the car has mentionworthy engine power. On small engines with narrow torque bands an automatic transmission will feel sluggish and slow.
>parents are always concerned with safety
>Fact: You are more likely to have a crash in an auto car than a man
The newer auto transmissions are usually on par with or better than manual transmissions when it comes to fuel compsumption. But the failure of an auto transmission is still more common and costly to repair than the failure of a manual transmission
So what does /o/ think of the Audi TT RS? 5 cyl, 400 hp, and AWD.
And no manual option as of this year. Also probably front-heavy as fuck like every other Audi.
>>17028898
no 5cyl skids, good other than that I guess
>$70k for a FWD-based AWD golf
Hell fucking no, I'll take a C63 or camaro ss
What did he mean by this
And why the hell is he wearing a knitted hat even though it's warm enough to go sleeveless?
>>17028751
I increased the amount of fuel per ignition, use nitrous oxide and you're car will complete a mile in 9 seconds
>drives a nissan shitbox
>wonders why its a shitbox
I have a theory that car manufacturers are not making any good cars on purpose. Anyone with half a brain knows that the only two fucking requirements this board has is 350+ hp/torque and RWD/AWD in some sort of sedan or coupe. That is it. How difficult is it to do that? Why can't any manufacturer fucking get this right? Every single car on the market is some frankenstein abomination that does OK in 9 out of 10 categories and then completely shits the bed in the last category making it entirely worthless.
I just don't understand.
The automobile industry needs /o/ as much as the videogame industry needs /v/.

Simple:
There are excellent cars that fit the requirements but but the price is way to high for a young kid to afford.
What's left: used cars with aftermarket support so an owner get things done right.
>>17027166
The prices are high because the car is inflated with a bunch of useless garbage. We don't need your meme traction control, meme ABS, meme collision detection, meme lane assist, meme auto-park, meme navigation, meme directional bixenon headlights, meme sunroof, meme back up cam, meme roadside assistance, meme plastic engine covers, or any other meme bullshit you can think of
How far back do you usually have your seat?
it's more of how close it is
I sit pretty close to the steering wheel
Enough to accommodate my legs and reach the pedals comfortably. Like you're supposed to.
Only niggers drive with the seat all the way back and reclined like it's a god damn la-z-boy.
>>17026861
Far enough that my boyfriends can sit on my lap
Out of curiosity, I looked up prices for the new NSX.
They're still selling them for $20,000 above MSRP. Great job, Honda. That'll really get your halo car out on the road and make people take notice of your luxury brand, you fucking idiots.
Also, I realized when finding a pic for this post that the new Civic is a more interesting looking car than the NS--"Audi R8 amalgamation"--X
Shills please go
Not sure where you're looking but eBay motors is plastered with dealerships stuck with NSXs they can't sell selling significantly under MSRP $170-180
>>17026776
>>17027134
MSRP is $150,000..
Wew lads
>Take my 2004 Honda Civic that I financed out of college (Out of pure desperation because my parents kicked me out like two weeks after graduation before I had started my new job)
>Go to get inspected, knowing it needed new brakes
>JK JK $2k work now to pass (minus labor) and I need a new exhaust system by year end
>Underwater on my loan
>Dealer pushing me HARD AS FUCK to lease a car from them
>Everything I have read about leasing makes it seem like a no go for me personally
Holy shit I am so fucking out of my league here. I know can't afford to put my car back on the road
So here is what I got
>Drove a few cars they tried to push on my, drove a few I wanted to try
>Favorite by far was the 2016 Honda Civic
They offered me to trade in my car to finance the 2016 Civic for 72 months @ $300 a month (Including all fees and GAP insurance) to drive it off the lot. They would absorb the cost of the inspection & oil change I got as well
Here is my question. In general (Or specifically the 2016 Civic LX if you are familiar) what is the chances of the car lasting for 6 years without it falling the fuck apart
I don't know much about cars, but here are the facts
>I ALWAYS get my regularly scheduled maintenance (Which I will be having a very very LONG talk with my current mechanic about why these issues were never brought to my attention)
>Oil changes as needed (New dealership offers them for free so fuck it)
>Drive it about 20 miles a day in PA (Non mountainous area, but salt zone)
The fact of the matter is that I don't have a lot of savings (Which is an issue with me being shitty with money and no fault but my own). but I do have a steady job and don't see an issue with paying $100 more a month (Plus probably my car insurance double).
I donno, I was just hoping someone here could read this and give me advice. I told the guy if the payment is over $300 when he brings me the contract I am walking
You should leave anyway. If you can't write a check for it, you can't afford it.
Why aren't you looking at late 2000s Civics?
Also these fuckers tried some jewish tricks on me already (Including offering me terms that required 3x the down payment I offered)
I feel like I shouldn't have told them my ballpark was 200-350/m but I got lulled into a false sense of security.
Anything else I should be on the lookout for?

That's fucking awful
Don't finance the car. Get the lease then after 3 years you can just finance the residual buyout

Tuner thread
ITT: tell what performance mods you've done beyond normal maint, doesn't HAVE to be a typical tuner car. If you bought the race car rather than built it, then don't bother posting. For me, speed 3 SRI, rear motor mount, hpfp, turbo inlet pipe, and AP3 with purple drank e85/93 mix tune.
Hey nice mods Op
I'm running a Wrx so far on a stage 2.5 tune with intake, downpipe, larger turbo, 255lph fuel pump, cat back exhaust, BPV, Coilovers, Sway bars, Slotted rotors and brembo pads.. it's a bumpy fast car lol JDM4life
