Not everyone who goes to university or college has a mountain of debt. Im taking a meme degree (criminology,) but still work 38 hour weeks overnights so I graduate debt free because I probably wont find work.

1999 Chevy Tracker 1.6l. When idling and dropping below ~6-800 RPM the vehicle shakes rather violently and occasional loses ignition. Just replaced alternator and the electrical system seems to be fine. Any ideas? Fuel pressure maybe?

i drove my honda for 8 years without once ever mantaining the oil, clutch or anything like that iv basically dailed this car with replacing the breaks once or twice topping the oil once a year and the petrol i put in there
so today it stopped working ( i knew this would happen)
was in the middle of traffic, going up hill then my car suddenly wouldnt let me put it in 1st, so i had to force it in
then at like 3k RPM i hear a pop noise then second wouldnt go in so i climbed the hill on first then took the first exist off the main road
my car just stopped going into gear for a while but after a while my gears started catching
so i quickly stormed home, thank god i made it cause i saved money on towing but anyway its home now and none of the gears go in
what is wrong with it?

Brake lights don't get brighter when I press the pedal. New brake pedal position sensor, new BAS relay, new BAS fuse. Mechanic I took it to said he read it was tied in to another module - gave up and referred me to electrical specialist.
I'm not spending a grand for "electrical diagnostics". I'm searching "brake switch kits" and finding options $20-100... But I'm not sure what I need.
Just want a button under the pedal that signal the brake lights to get brighter when depressed. Brake bulbs have their own power. Can't pass thru existing system because of relay and module fault.
What kit? Will I have to run wire from pedal to trunk?

I want to pay it off then take out a personal loan for around 20k (currently financed 14k and have 8k to go) and use the car as collateral. With the loan money I want to do a manual and rwd conversion (found a shop to do it), get headers, get lighter body panels everywhere I can, rebuild the engine, and finally get it all tuned up to delete torque management and whatever else is hindering the power.
If I can I also want to turbo it.
Basicly, I want to make the Impala that chevy should have but was too cucked to. And don't tell me to get a different car and mod it because I'm in love with the look of this car. I absolutely love it.
What do you guys think? Is this feasible?
