Can you learn how to drive stick on one of these things?
It's WAY cheaper and more convenient than buying a junker for me and I don't have any friends that know how to drive manual
Yes you can learn the process but it won't translate to an actual skill
And the amount of money you could spend on a sim set up with feedback that actually could teach you, is the same as a beater
no. it'd be easier to learn to drive a manual car by learning on a motorbike.
>>17145965
you dont need a beater to learn stick, it's easy
you're not going to burn out the clutch in the short amount of time it takes to learn to press a pedal and move a lever
With a 90 degree v6 with cylinders numbered 1-3 on left bank and 4-6 on right bank looking at the engine from the harmonic balancer, and spinning clockwise from your point of view, what would be the crank interval with this firing order? Assume each crank pin only has 1 throw with no offset crank pins, each spaced 120 degrees apart, therefore an odd fire engine.
The firing order is 1-5-4-2-6-3.
In other words what is the crank angle between each cylinder firing.

who cares v6 a shit anyway
why isn't vw working on bringing the polo (gti) to the us?
almost identical to the fiesta st and all the rice boys would eat it up
We already have Golf gti's though...
Because the golf in the US is already four doors only, so why have a car that would cannibalize those sales and the flagshit of VW?
>>17145626
the polo is smaller ad lighter
>>17145628
the polo can be hd with 2 doors

What difference does it make to you?
I've bought a leyland atlean from 1975 to transport /o/tists, completely busted paint, interiors, and it stinks. The engine doesn't work. I've paid £4000
Now. I have 0 experience on working on buses . I don't know what to do and why it doesn't work.
HOW CAN I FIX IT?
(i don't care about the look, i just want to reapir the engine).
We cant tell you if we dont know whats wrong with it
First off, show me some proof that it's yours. Once you've proved you're not lying, I will offer what assistance I can.

I am a cartard, so please explain to me if the amount of cylinders really make the car go faster. I have been saving for an evo but its only 4 cylinders, does it make it any slower?
pls help
>>17144553
Do even a little bit of research.
>>17144553
The number of cylinders does not make a car inherently slower.
>>17144553
Just use Premium Blinker Fluid, this will increase the cars power to weight ratio and drop a good 4-5 seconds off your quarter pounder time

>hmm where have I seen this before
>oh that's right, Volvo has been doing this for decades

The reason why they did it is because the previous generation Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage where criticized for the fact that the roof collapsed during rollovers. So that generated some "you die if you drive a Hyundai" type publicity.
>the 240s are so square they stack on top of each other without even needing anything in between to keep them from sliding off
Fucking beautiful.
Why is Chrysler fiat shit?
of course a fag like OP prefers a Prius, no surprise there
Because Fiat has always been shit?

Catering to nogs destroys creativity and design. See McDonalds, etc.
can you talk about soundsystems here?
Yes.
>>17143737
Great!
I bought my first car, a BMW 316I/3 MJ00. I am wondering if you can point me to different sound systems that I can look into and install.

you should look for ones that are good quality and not shitty ones
Hi there, i been working with a Chevy nova for the past 6 years, but i still have a lot to learn, i have a Chevy nova 1970, i got it with a 350 engine, but got some problems with the engine and ended changing it for a 454, so now i have a 454 chevy nova with a big problem on the suspension now... the front tires strike with the fender / bodywork, i can say that theres like a space of 1 inch between the tires and the body of the car i think, not even mentioning how it feels on the road, i try to avoid every bump of the road...
I managed to come with some options on what suspension would be perfect for the car ( for example Hotchkis Sport Suspension TVS Systems), but i would like to know the opinion of /o/ and find the best option.
btw
my budget its around 1,300 dls

So I've got a question since I'm having trouble finding a solid answer online.
There is this abandoned Elcamino sitting in the parking lot of my local shopping center. Turns out it's been there for like 4 years.
>tires are deflated
>no "4 Sale" sign
>minor wear on exterior/interior
>still has lisence plate (no tags).
I'm in LA, Vernon parish and can't seem to find any information on how to go about claiming the vehicle without the local police department/tow company swiping it for themselves.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
Has any anyone ever gone about doing this before, if so how did it go?

Grab the VIN and ask the DMV who the last registered owner is. Track down the owner, and ask them if they'll just sign the thing over.

Why is America so far ahead of China, Europe and Japan in electric cars?
because america doesn't care about driving
Everyone else knows it's a waste of time. They're here only because of gibs me dats from the government and fame from retards on the left.
Does it matter how much milleage a 2010 corolla has since its a well..corolla?..
Im looking to buy one but most are 7k or higher with 100 kplus mileage.... im a noob
>>17141908
100k shouldn't be too bad on most japanese cars. The real problem you can end up with on the cheapo japanese shitboxes is zero maintenance. You'll want to make sure that oil changes and such have happened with some sort of regularity.
>>17141908
I have a 2008 Corolla with 260k+ miles. I replaced the clutch 10k miles ago. Other than that, the car has been solid. Just make sure the seller has kept up on maintenance.
Why not get a 2014-2015? I think they really stepped it up starting in 2014. I drove a company car that was this and the led headlights look almost like hid. Loved the aux port built in. I like the aggressive look on the front, the rear is okay, the side isn't too pretty. I've been looking at them on CL, can get one for around 10k-12k, seen a few as low as 9k. All clean title, no damage.
