Princess Charlotte: Kensington Palace releases new photos - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-34957390
Why is the royal family still important? Its a baby. It shits itself, cries, and sleeps all day like every other baby in the world. Why do some people still care?

Cuz people follow shitty traditions w/o thinking about why they are doing it
Cudos to every tradition/culture/religion out there that doesn't stop and think about what they are doing and why.

I'm English and literally only just find out they had another kid. I'm hugely opposed to that antiquated institution.
>'Bleeding host' under investigation by SL Catholic diocese
http://kutv.com/news/local/bleeding-host-under-investigation-by-sl-catholic-diocese
It probably is a fungus which turns it red and causes that whiteish part. Not the first time it happens: http://www.startribune.com/blood-red-host-is-no-miracle-lab-tests-show/135632408/
However there have also been other confirmed bleeding host miracles before where they determined it was real blood.
So what is your opinion, /news/? Do you believe it was a miracle? Do you believe in any miracles?
>being religious
>tfw cant post fedoras
As a catholic, I would just wait for the lab tests. A miracle should be proclaimed when all reasonable explanations have failed and a sound motivation for it to happen has been found
>>2849
This seems to be a case where even the Church was being skeptical. The lab result saying it was a fungus seems much more believable and Occam's razor definitely favors that over something outside of how things normally work.
If not a fungus, it could be a reaction we haven't dealt with before.

It's called a treaty. Like, where we agree with other people on something. If we simply exported our own laws everywhere, you'd be crying that we were imperialists too.
Seriously, we can't win.
Don't worry, our handsomest politicians are hot on the case.

Hiro doesn't know squat about appropriate boards, board culture, board etiquette, 4chan's history, etc. so just ignore him if possible.

Did EFG or the Anonymous with Vendetta masks came first? If it's EFG then wearing the mask is unintentionally ironic to their cause.
http://www.theguardian.com/society/2015/nov/29/junior-doctors-dispute-talks-resume-bid-avert-strike
Who's in the right here? Are the junior doctors correct in striking over pay/working conditions, or is this dangerous, self-entitled behaviour?
>>2856
In America, Doctors are allowed to charge whatever they want, but in practice it ends up being whatever the insurance providers want who the doctors contract with. I'd imagine most Americans would say the free market should decide.
Greedy fucks moaning about above average wage.
I have no sympathy for them because they already get paid vast sums that most people in this country would kill for, but if the terms of their contracts are being changed, they are entitled to renegotiate their salaries as well.
So it sucks for them, and I would strike too in their position, but I'm actually in a considerably worse position, so I'm not going to bother with any of these protests and petitions that people keep thrusting at me.
Global Warming fanatics read this:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/earth/environment/globalwarming/11395516/The-fiddling-with-temperature-data-is-the-biggest-science-scandal-ever.html
Even if man-induced climate change was a lie/exaggeration (I've never been too sure), I still think there is no harm in conservation of resources.
Finding alternatives to oil, recycling, all that shit, it can only be of benefit, right? Or am I missing something here?
>>2716
The global warming cultists won't care. It's like explaining contradictions in the bible to someone with a snake in their hand.
>>2775
No harm in self driven conservation. The problem is it's being used by governments to dictate industry and wield larger control over populations. That's not OK.

Oil industry anon here. ND rig count last year was close to 200 until that thanksgiving 2014, now we are in the 80's. People here are cautiously optimistic, but the general sentiment from people that have been around it their whole life say its going to get much worse with Iran's oil going to market and Russia/ Saudi Arabia not slowing down at all. Some old timers here are saying 25-30 dollars a barrel next year. When the layoffs started they had the police at Halliburton and Schlumberger to keep the peace. Can't imagine the hit we'd take if oil was that cheap.
>>2490
Cut your losses with oil. US NG for international export will still be a viable investment until Iran gets a pipeline up through what is now IS Group territory.

>Total sales in the US on Black Friday fell 10% to $10.4bn this year, down from $11.6bn in 2014, according to research firm ShopperTrak.
>The decline in sales on the traditional busiest shopping day of the year has been blamed on shops opening the day before. But this year, sales on Thanksgiving also dropped, and by the same percentage, to $1.8bn.
>A big reason for the decline is increased online shopping, as Americans hunt down deals on their smartphones, tablets and computers. Many retailers are also offering bargains long before Thanksgiving, limiting the impact of Black Friday specials.
>Online retailers have been bombarding customers with email discounts and bargains for weeks. Online sales jumped 14.3% on Friday compared with last year, according to Adobe, which tracked activity on 4,500 retail websites. Email promotions drove 25% more sales compared with 2014, the company said.

It doesn't matter if the profits are on Black Friday, the week before, or the day after.
The golden quarter will always be golden.
Can't wait until the Black Friday meme dies. I have never participated in it and I never will.
I love how they make excuses. They'll say anything except "Sales sucked ass and we fabricated statistics here to preserve investor confidence because we're snake motherfuckers and the truth is that 65% of the nation is poor as shit because every corporation is finding ways to moneygrab and bleed the nation dry and we pay our own workers as little as humanly possible and we're dumb because expect them to have money to spend during the holiday season and pleasedisregardthatthisistheworstrunonsentenceyouhaveeverseenandseeyounextyearhopefully. Name that important knowledge you have to learn after 5th grade that isn't directly based on the previous grade's information?!
It's ALL regurgitated information repackaged as new information after 5th grade to make it seem higher, but it's all based on the previous stuff that's already been taught.
McDonalds has never been a favorite of mine, but I don't complain if it's the closest place available.
That made me ask myself: Is McDonalds the favorite fast food place of anybody? People might only go to it just because of its proliferation, rather than the fact that they just love McDonalds.
>‘We are in the throes of a deep depression, and nothing is changing,’ one franchisee wrote.

>‘All-day breakfast is a nonstarter,’ another added. ‘We are trading customers down from regular menu to lower-priced breakfast items. Not generating new traffic.’
>The new all-day breakfast menu has been a particular source of frustration, but the chain has implemented a number of radical ideas – including an option to build your own burger from 30 ingredients, ‘healthier’ items such as kale breakfast bowls, and a gimmicky ‘grey’ burger launched in China.

>Proofs
Really not sure who's at fault here. I think it will be along time before we can determine what was happening behind the scenes.
I know Russia likes to test the waters with flying through other countries air space, but so does everyone else. Russia posed 0 threat to Turkey.
DAILY REMINDER THAT TURKEY LITERALLY VIOLATED BASICALLY EVERY SINGLE NATO PROTOCOL ON AIRCRAFT INTERCEPTION. I'M IN WRITING IN CAPS BECAUSE THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. HERE'S THE EXTRACT FROM NATO'S ARTICLES ON AIRCRAFT INTERCEPTION:
"
IF THE AIRCRAFT IS ON AN EXIT COURSE OF AN EXTREMELY NARROW BAND OF AIRSPACE, INTERCEPTION IS UNCALLED FOR
AT THE HALFWAY POINT, AN AIRCRAFT ENCROACHING UPON AIRSPACE IF ON AN EXIT COURSE, HAS COMPLIED WITH WARNINGS AND ORDERS AND CANNOT BE FIRED UPON
THE MINUTE THE AIRCRAFT IS OUT OF YOUR AIRSPACE, IT CANNOT BE FIRED UPON AND YOU MUST TURN AROUND AND GO HOME
IF YOU KNOW THE PURPOSE OF AN AIRCRAFT OPERATING CLOSE TO THE BORDER, ACCIDENTAL ENCROACHMENT IS ALLOWED AND NECESSITATES NO SCRAMBLE OR INTERCEPTION, UNLESS THE AIRCRAFT IS ON A PATH INTO YOUR COUNTRY WITH NO DEFINED EXIT POINT. IF THE AIRCRAFT IS MILITARY AND CLEARLY ARMED, AN AIRBORNE SENTRY CONSISTING OF AN INTERCEPTION SQUADRON IS ENCOURAGED TO FLY A HOLDING PATTERN ALONG THE BORDER FOR QUICK TURNAROUND. (NOTE, THAT DOESNT HAVE SHOOTDOWN OR EVEN RADAR LOCK ANYWHERE IN THE DEFINITION OF TURN AROUND)
DO NOT FIRE UPON AN AIRCRAFT THAT IS LEAVING OR HAS LEFT AIRSPACE. IT IS AN ACT OF WAR THAT BARS YOU FROM INCITING ARTICLE 5, AS NATO IS A DEFENSIVE MILITARY ORGANIZATION AND ARTICLE 5 ONLY COVERS A NATION ATTACKING A NATO COUNTRY WITHOUT DIRECT PROVOCATION OF THAT COUNTRY, OR AN OBJECTIVE ACT OF WAR AGAINST YOUR NOW PRESENT AGGRESSOR.
YOU MUST VISUALLY INTERCEPT THE AIRCRAFT AND HAVE VISUAL CONTACT WITH THE PILOT"
ALSO THIS >>1631
and you should blame russia a bit tbh. who sends an old ground attack aircraft like the SU-24 flying arround like that without SU27 escort.

A total of 21,748 people had been given deportation orders by the Migration Agency at the end of October – the largest number in history, the Aftonbladet tabloid reported on Friday.
Of those, 14,140 are registered by police as 'departed' or 'wanted'. Some are believed to still be at unknown locations in Sweden while others are thought to have left the country.
"We simply don't know where they are," Patrik Engström, head of the national border police, told the newspaper.
