Description:
"A collection of home recordings. My first solo release."
-Mikhail Alex
Mikhail Alex's debut release is what I like to call stumbling reflection. A softly rasp and dusty voice, equivocal to songwriters like Elliott Smith and Alex G, blends with both shimmering and rusted guitars, a full band sound, and patchy lyricism of everyday introspection and delinquency, in order to create one EP that leaves the listener in solemn wonder, and hoping for a taste of more.
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Mikhail some love. Thank You. :)

Ambient music is a lazy way of making the same chord structure last throughout a 10 minute song

Thoughts on the /mu/ banner winner ?
https://www.4chan.org/banner-contest/mu
I really like "/mu/ in dual mono"
>now that's what I call complete shit
Why didn't this win?
The one with just the pentagram with F A G in it was the best. Not the one with OP is a... in it.
It kinda surprised me how many submissions there where from this board. Are /mu/tants so desperate for a pass?

Name 816000 albums from that year that have that
what software do you use to download music?
i've been using this since the early 2000s
I also use Soulseek.
Been using them torrents. So far so good.
Soulseek, torrents and obscure blogspots have been more than enough so far.

I do. It's just really hard to deal with the constant disappointment.
it's one of them threads where people post pictures and their homies there suggest them an album or song or other musical category that complements said image

sample-based ""electronica"" (sic.) as produced by someone both japanese and no older than 23 years of age. contains boom bap drums throughout (obviously), liberal use of moody piano samples, beatless interludes of field recordings of open windows during autumn rainstorms and mechanical computer keyboards, and also low-pass filtered samples of anime samurais grunting
>>68345750
forgot to mention: field recording interludes are named after the artist's homework assignments
artist is either very talented hs student (in which case music is too young, too reliant on gimmick and nujabes-mimicry) or deadbeat uni student failing out of college (music is genuinely alright but still largely forgettable)
i'll start
