Like 1st favourite, 2nd favourite, etc if applicable.

Feedbacker is better

Perhaps, but Absolutego is his favourite.
bong never gets enough love in drone metal threads.
Is this drone enough to count?

that's my favorite album but I really don't see why people keep labeling it as drone. there's way too much dynamics and melody for it to be considered drone metal like sunn or earth are. plus from reading interviews the musicians said they were much more influenced by early swans and shoegaze than any metal.

I'd have said that when it does get heavy, it really seems to be close to Drone Metal. It's just that it usually doesn't have it when it's not being as heavy and oppressive as it can be.
I don't feel like the "Ambient Drone Metal" label it's been given by some is that inaccurate.

suprised that earth 2 wasn't posted yet

I take even more exception to the label of "ambient" than I do drone. it's atmospheric but a long way from ambient, it's way too in your face for that. if you have to put a genre name to it "doomgaze" is the most descriptive one I've heard although given that nothing sounds particularly similar the idea of putting it in a genre category is a little ridiculous.
seems like this is a drone doom thread kinda, so posting drone doom (otherwise I really like Eluvium's Static Nocturne)

this is really good, one of my favourites for sure

I think White 1 might be their best work.

>tfw surrounded by plebs

it's leans more towards prog electronic, but still possesses some amazingly dense drones
