An experiment in a pen-and-paper composing general, made for all the theory autists
Post with the intent on discussing composition. And remember, this is NOT /classical/. Any music, such as jazz, is acceptable.
Post clyps and accompanying notation so we can accurately critique your composing from a theory perspective

Excusing the shitty midi file, what jazzy chords would better suit the turnaround from bar 7? I'm dying here guys
>>68355634
for starters, why not a Fsus chord?
<F G Bb Eb> indead of that C major chord.
Levine's piano jazz chords sound godawful on a church organ.

Don't let anyone try to tell you not to listen to so much dad-rock. That shit can be better than people around here realise.
Is there a site where you guys make these, or do you just use Photoshop or something?

>>68354760
wow u r edgy bro
/mu/core is nothing but sappy lyrics over simple acoustic strumming 95% of the time. The rest is mumble rap.
Genuine vaporwave is comfy ambient music and should be respected as such
Muse > Radiohead
K Pop was a mistake
Primus > Swans > ICP > Mr Bungle
Eurodance is the purest genre of music
muse fucking sucks
I like the bee gees early mod rock stuff better than I like their disco stuff and I wish they made more mod rock.

>vaporwave
yeah, some of it is genuinly alright
much like dubstep, until it got saturated by talentless kids, much like vaporwave.

Metallica are arguably the biggest metal band in the world, so why is their live setup so shit? They can certainly afford better. It's this super muddy, sludgy (and not in a good way) tone to the guitars that makes everything sound worse than it should. And the Drop D tuning certainly doesn't help.
>>68354525
ever since james started adding this shitty bob-rock-isms to every line of dialog their shows becamse shit
>>68354405
that is even worse than I could have remembered!
Why is life so boring?
