Fugazi
/mu/, music friends, and critics tell me that Fugazi is the face of intelligent punk rock. These guys jam together really well, but I just can't get into their songs. Some of their more anthem-y stuff is kinda awkward, and the more complex stuff is even worse.
Tell me why my opinion sucks and post bands that you just can't get into.
i never liked them either
Depeche Mode
Speedy Ortiz
Common
First couple off the top of my head, given what I like, I should be into all of them but I'm just not.

Why is classical music so h*cking quiet? I need to turn my volume up to at least 90% to even have the chance to hear the softer parts. Do these producers not know how to mix music? Just about every other genre I listen to is completely fine at around 40% volume max.
it's called dynamics fuckface get some headphones
>h*cking
>>69121793
My headphones are fine, thank you very much. pic related.
Albums similar to pic related?
Also where should I go with sakamoto next if I really liked this.
Have you already listened to Yellow Magic Orchestra? His work is really not uniform, recently he's been releasing only piano improvisation.
>>69121798
No I haven't. Literally only listened to pic related and am halfway through b2 unit as we speak. I like the synthpop but not nearly as much as the ambient material on my op pic. Where should I start with YMO?

hiroshi sato!!
WTF I hate Grimes now
>>69121407
Why?? Geidi Primes is a charming mini-album. You have no soul if you hate it.
I hate Grimes and I've never listened to this album. Step your game up, OP.

Do you have something against pigs
>I want to fuck you like an animal
What did he mean by this?
Well the studio they recorded it in had a murder victim of The Manson Family. On the door was painted "PIG" with blood".
Wanting to get into Sonic Youth. What's a good starting point amongst their huge discography?

Hey, /mu/. I'm having some trouble with my school homework. This is what the excercise says:
>"List the objective 10 greatest albums in history."
Does anyone know the answer?

What's /mu/'s opinion on Daft Punk?
predictable sell outs, first album pushed house funk to its limits the rest just bad.
>>69120620
Whatever it is they're making clearly isn't punk
