Why did popstars stop being openly gay?
It took the south a few decades to realize those guys were gay but now theyre back to full lynch mode
>>69136687
It was a passing fad
>>69136687
that's not gay, it's designed to attract women
Discuss experimental electronic, post-club, industrial reggaeton, Bubblegum POP, UK BASS, Art pop, Future goth and DUDE POST RECENT PAST NOSTALGIA
Basically anything where you can't really pinpoint what genre it belongs too followed by an artist who tries really hard to be mysterious

i've just recently started dabbling in this kind of music again after getting tired of it for a while, so i haven't really followed the scene a lot
I'm listening to this right now and it's very good. very nice progression
are there really not anyone on /mu/ who's into stuff like this? even op hasn't appeared since starting the thread
ITT: Name some of the most versatile and genre-bursting musicians you know.
Optional: List some of the genres that musician did.
>>69136578
>Versatile musicians
Wasn't he only able to play sax and piano?
And I suppose Damon Albarn in general, though Blur never strayed too far from their britpop roots.
>>69136602
He was able to play guitar and drums too.
But I meant more along the lines of how many genres the musician did and how well they switched genres.
>I Hate Myself and I Want to Die
What did he mean by this?
Quite literally a joke that went too far
>>69136503
>look on the bright side of suicide
Clearly he was murdered
>>69136503
I'd want to die too if I was married to Courtney Love
I've become really obsessed by them lately and need more, because I've listened to near-on everything they've released now.
Orange Juice
The Pillows
But they were one of a kind.

R. Stevie Moore
Early of Montreal

The Radio Dept - Pet Grief
>Mountain Game
They're working on an EP immediately apparently as Panda continues his next solo album. Deak is rumored to be on this
its an old song that they released now, made for RDR but wasn't used
source on new ep?
why do people care about deak this much? he's the most useless member, he better continue working solo
>>69136433
>They're working on an EP immediately apparently
source pls
also am I the only one who thought Mountain Game wasn't that great
>>69136518
this, he doesn't have the unique style of Avey or Panda and isn't as versatile or as much of a wildcard as Geo. his sound makes a nice contribution to the band (particularly his guitar tone,) but ultimately he's the filler member.
Morning Benders - Big Echo

Morning, Benders.

Is it because they renamed themselves afterwards?
What's your favorite underrated Beach Boys album? I think all of these are great. All of them have fantastic covers too.
This'un.
>>69136168
All of them are great, as is 20/20. The narrative says they were great on Pet Sounds, scrapped Smile and never got it together again, but they were consistently good until they released 15 Big Ones. I think this is really underrated personally.
Their best album
>there are people on this board who still haven't heard this

What does /mu/ think about desert rock?
never seen a mention of it before on this site.
Never heard of it but it sounds cool as hell
>>69135705
>never seen a mention of it before on this site
Quenns of the Stone Age are constantly mentioned
I know that's a pleb opinion, but I honestly prefer them over Kyuss
>>69135764
qotsa are definitely better to just chill out to/drive to/sesh to
How much do you sonsider historical importance and influence when rating an album?
Note: If you say you don't you are dumb
I don't
I don't
It depends on whether I personally enjoyed the album or not
