complete, unalduterated shite. i almost threw up trying to listen to this hot garbage, kill yourself rn
much better than expected, nu males gonna hate
It's just me or almost all the songs sound the same?
I do like some of their albums like Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning and the Black Album those are great have a lot of substance different nuances of rhythms and forcefulness.
But this new thing just sound like one constant noise of 40 minutes. Wtf is even worse that their 'bad' albums like load reload, st anger.
I am alone here?

death magnetic was ok-ish but the new album gave me a headache
Post the saddest music, music you listen to when you feel bad and when you want to disappear.
i feel that way too
Unironically pic related.
Just reminds me of how fucked modern society is and I listen to it every time I just want to hide in the countryside.
Gonna try LSD over thanksgiving break. Any good music to give a shot while I'm on it?

I listened to a 17 minute live recording of The Doors performing When The Musics Over on acid once and that was pretty mean
My advice however would be to listen to a track or some tracks that are right up there amongst your all time jams and you definitely regard as fucking mean, but maybe you haven't actually listened to for quite a while, maybe because they are pretty linked to a time in your life from some years ago, so you get a combination of nostalgia factor plus a renewed appreciation for just how mean that track is and how much your appreciate the playing and composition on it after not hearing it for a while and now hearing it on acid (also should probably be one that has elusively positive connotations and memories attached to i)
I say that because that was my experience when I listened to this track, probably wont be your jam but rocked my world at the time

Actually if you are into jazz at all that might be a mean road to go down, just because of the way the long individual solos really take you on a journey and feel like they are telling you a story. Especially instrumental music on acid is nice because it's easier to let it start spinning a fantasy in your mind without having human language on the track telling you whats going on

>not a pasta
damn

Thanks dude! I do really like jazz but didn't really consider it to be good for tripping, but I'll definitely try it out when I do.
I was working on a playlist of songs that I really liked and I thought might work well, because that was my thought process too
>all you black folks, you must go
>all of you mexicans, you must go
>muslims and gays, boy we hate your ways
how did they get away with this?

Is 4/4 the objective best time signature? It's probably the simplest and obviously the most overused, but is there a reason for that?

>Started skipping half of songs
>started liking less and less music
>always feel the need to listen to it, but can never find anything I want to listen to
>listen to generas I like, used to like, don't like, anything
>don't feel like anything hits me the way it used to
>crave to just feel music make my heart pick up the pace a bit
Used to listen to metal, stuff like Tool and Otep, those quivering voices that just make you feel their emotions
Why can't I feel that anymore /mu/? I listen to new stuff and old stuff, but nothing does the trick anymore
What do I do. How do I fix this.
>inb4 edgy
I just need something, honest.
>>69191096
>tool
>metal
Ahahahaha oh wow
This isn't meant to be a song request thread, but drop one if you have one I guess.
I just want to know what I'm doing wrong. Why doesn't music make me feel like the way it used to. Why doesn't it make me feel good anymore.
