new song wasn't good
his voice and lyrics can't justify long songs. arrangements wasn't that good also
good message but would have been better as poetry
>>70578638
I haven't listen yet but honestly if it is even half as good as ILYHB I will be happy. That album was amazing.
>>70578621
did you actually listen to the lyrics of the song? it's so fucking preachy and shit, literallly screams ostentatious.
What's some essential 10's pop?

Justin Timberlake - The 20/20 Experience (Complete)
Frank Ocean - Channel Orange
Sia - 1000 Forms of Fear
Also replace Visions with....
...literally anything BUT that (Haflaxa maybe?)
Art Angels was pretty good though.

itt: post a bands best album
NOW IF I BLEACH THIS ASSHOLE
WAKE UP MR WEST
AND SHE JUST FUCKED HER T-SHIRT
AND I GET BLEACH ON MY CROISSANTS
I don't get it. Middling tempos, and simple repetitive riffs that go on for way too long except a couple tracks where its a jazzy freakout. Maybe heavy for its time, but there's a lot heavier stuff today. What makes it still good to you?
Edgelords go home
listen again
raw power is better
How come a 6/10 album is so widely acclaimed?
>>70574444
I honestly have no idea. People hype it up to be something out of this world, and in reality it's just boring. also checked

>teenagers who are too ADHD to pay attention to the tinier details that makes this album amazing
dude
Remember record stores? Let's talk about the record stores we used to visit (or still visit) and the shit we got there.
go away city boy
RIP. Kentucky homies know.
now i live in Washington and go to Rainy Day records. Not quite the same as my hometown record store which closed.
One good thing about Itunes and digital media in general is that you don't have to talk to people when buying music you want. Why the fuck people that work in record stores are so fucking pretentious? You couldn't ask about albums or artists that they didn't like because they would start lecturing you about how that band was shit and how that old generic blues was so much better and all that snobish crap.
2017 is the year that Kacy Hill drops her debut album. Are you excited?
can someone put BLACKED hand near her?

She kinda looks like Alex Tanner
Search Alex Tanner Lexington Steele and you get the full dose of degeneracy
Good lord yes

(Anon's Dream)
"I keep having this dream where Kanye puts out a new albums called "The Death of Pablo" It's just 4 songs, Ultralight Wall, Washed Up, Father Stretch My Hands pt. 3 and Fade pt. 2
They are all around 20 minutes. It sounds like the originals but just 20 times darker in both lyrics and production also, Fade pt. 2 has 10 minutes of Kanye talking about his innermost fears and what happens when you die after a few minutes of silence"
This was (anon's) my dream, and this thread is for pursuing that dream. This thread is just for rough drafts of the songs and constructive criticism to make The Death of Pablo possible.
WIP TRACKS:
Ultralight Wall:

Washed Up:
(no progress)
FSMH Pt. 3:
(no progress)
Fade Pt. 2

Fade Monologue:
https://clyp.it/xq3tohh0 (pretty much done, might add some things myself)
remember guys, we're trying to make a cohesive 4 track long album, with movements within each song. Add onto what other people have done, and make sure to sample the songs each track is based on
Ultralight Wall - Ultralight Beam
Washed Up - Famous and Waves
FSMH Pt. 3 - FSMH Pt. 1 and Pt. 2
Fade Pt. 2 - Fade
have fun collaborating and making music!
lol no thanks
I'm rooting for this. But please don't make it super cringey. Especially since the criteria is "Pablo but 20 times darker." C'mon, 20 times darker? Are you 11?
CONTRIBUTION FOR WASHED UP
its only 3-4 minutes but add on to it guys
