Not the original guy who dreamt up the album, but I have a concept that could help tie the album together.

The Death of Pablo is set on October 23, 2002: the day of the car accident that inspired him to make "Through the Wire," which ultimately helped him build his career to what it is today. Except what we don't know is that Kanye actually died that day.

The introductory track, "Ultralight Wall" begins with the sound of Kanye getting into a car, putting on a beat he had been working on at the time, and rapping along to it as he drives. In the middle of a line, he is interrupted by the sound of a car crash. The rest of the song is him rapping about the "Ultralight Wall" AKA the pearly gates. Where will he spend the rest of eternity?

In track 2, "Washed Up," Kanye has a vision of the future he would have had had he not been in the accident. In this reality, Ye never has enough confidence to start his rap career. His career as a producer is short-lived, and his work is quickly forgotten.

The following track, "Father Stretch My Hands pt. 3" is the climax of the album. Following his worrying vision of the future, he is met by none other than God himself. Ye pleads for another chance at life, claiming to have a greater unfulfilled purpose on earth. Feeling that God is unconvinced, Kanye delivers the most powerful, earth-shattering verse of all time (not sure how Kanye would actually pull this off but a guy can dream)

The final track, "Fade pt. 2" finds Kanye suddenly awake in a hospital with his jaw wired shut. The memories of his life-changing encounter with God begin to fade away, save for one thing: his newfound purpose in life. The album concludes with choral rendition of "Through the Wire."
