Why is so much easier to heat the nuances in music when you're high? It's like I don't even have to try to hear certain things, that while sober I need to focus really hard to notice.
I even find it easier to listen to all of the instruments in a song at once too. It's almost like the song comes to life.
Is it possible to reach something similar to this while sober?

It's funny you mention him. I wouldn't really consider him dissociative core, but the first time I did DXM I happened to listen to Building Steam with a Grain of Salt as I spun around in circles in my chair. It felt amazing. Total bliss.

What genres or albums require high end hi-fi headphones or speakers to get the most out of them? Black metal, lo-fi and probably vaporware would sound alright on my poorfag earbuds but listening to something with heavy or glossy instrumentals like MBDTF feels like I'm missing out on so much.
