What's the deal with FLAC? Is it worth searching out FLAC versions of all the things you download?
>>71534854
>Is it worth searching out FLAC
>searching
so this is what it feels like to be a pleb
Can you tell the difference though? There is a difference but if you can't tell there is literally no point.
>>71534854
Its the utmost best quality however I also like 320 kbps mp3 and will convert to mp3 while still keeping the FLAC simply because my phone can't handle it
>>71534939
This is what I do as well. FLAC for home when it's audibly noticeable with a proper DAC/amp and headphone setup. 320 for casual listening with speakers, stored on devices, in the car, etc.
wuts ur opinin bork

TAYLOR A SHIT
since we're on the bland top 40 pop music subject
How am I supposed to book gigs as an experimental act? The bands in my area are pleb so all are hesitant to add us to their gigs. Promoters/venues never e-mail back. Have no friends to help put on a house show. Am I entirely fucked?
What city?
Try talking to art galleries, theaters, etc.
Especially ones known for hosting "avant-garde" stuff.
>>71534738
Emails about what specifically? You need to be asking them about specific touring shows you want to open for.
Most obvious industry plants?

That moment when your favourite member of a band is put as a third wheel
>>71534490
Hmmm
Who gives a damn?
>>71534490
1. I don't blame Factmag for DG's inadequacy to conduct a proper interview like a bunch of regular human beings and then correcting FM when nobody can figure out what each member does
2. "This seems to get mixed up often" and will continue to get mixed up often if they can't give straight answers on anything until after the damage is done
3. Andy is the prettiest so it doesn't matter anyways
4. Why so many threads on DG? I mean I'll post in all of them but there's already one active.
>>71534490
yeah idk how anyone who's listened to zach hill's other stuff wouldn't realize it
that stuff is all him
obviously not the vocals lol but people seem to think like andys doing all the music and its just zach on drums or something

come on now, how can anyone hate this cute chubchub?
Is Ariana Grande really the new Mariah Carey?
>only new wave popstar to use whistle tones
>quite likely the only one who even can
>regularly uses guest rappers
>sexy as hell
>christmas albums are better than her other work (excluding Yours Truly)
Dead ringer for the great Mariah if you ask me
I find neither of them particularly attractive to be honest.
>>71534464
pre-surgery Mariah was beautiful
the gap between mariah carey and ariana is extremely huge, whistle register doesn't mean a lot in terms of technique
t. vocalfag
I've never had an album terrify me like this one. Holy shit. I should not have listened to this at night while alone. I don't think I can sleep now.
Hah, dat cover looks pretty like this one.
>>71534344
I've never met a little bitch who gets frightened so easily.
The album is great though and I love it too. It only reaches creepy stage though.
What the fuck
I've never even considered or thought of this album as "scary"
It's a psychedelic pop album more or less
Their most cohesive and mature record to date. I love it.
God-tier songs: Tried & True, Zoloft, Transdermal Celebration, Among His Tribe, Happy Colored Marbles, The Fucked Jam, Alcan Road
Yep.
I love The Mollusk and Chocolate and Cheese too but this is ahead of both. I'd rank 'em:
Quebec > Mollusk > Chocolate and Cheese > White Pepper > Pure Guava > The Pod > GodWeenSatan > 12GCC > La Cucaracha
>>71534155
I disagree.
>>71534155
>liking meme bands
Korn was the last heavy band to significantly influence the music landscape in a major and significant way
>>71534137
It's painful to say this but death grips will probably. They already influenced Bowie.
>>71534421
Death Grips is rap though, yes?
Slipknot tho
>born too late for virtuoso composers
>born too late for jazz masters
>born too late to witness the best guitarist ever
>born in time for blacks to huddle in a circle, shout abuse at each other and call it music
no music exists that can comfort this feel
>>71534096
They only listen to say they've heard, and inherent the behavioral characteristics to show that they have learned.
>>71534096
Go stalk Jimmy Page until you catch him noodling.
>>71534096
You know their are great contemporary composers right? You just wont find them being shilled on music boards for faggots because their ideas take a little more time to digest
