The fact that Fame and Misfortune teased the bronies with butthurt facts, is what actually makes it enjoyable in my opinion. Of course the episode caused a feud in the fandom, but I guess that’s what we get for being a popular group. Just know that what we saw, shouldn’t be legitimately cannon. It’s just dramatic comedy that we should be enjoying. Also, we should be aware that the writers are trolling us to cause mayhem in the MLP fandom.

This is also why it's bad. Go back to making episodes in the tone of MLP and leave the meta funny stuff for other shows that obviously established they make use of it from the start. I don't want to see acknowledgement of the fandom in the show, in whatever form it may be.

Can we stop arguing about the episode itself for a second and agree on the fact that this is probably the best song since The Magic Inside? It doesn't have the broadway tier singing but in terms of intensity and message i think it wins by a mile.
And yes, the perfect pear song was great too, but it didn't hit as hard as this one at least for me.

The only things that I could have seen them do was have Spike wondering where his fans were and there's just one or two super hyped/cringy Spikefags who ask why he didn't write more. Other than that joke there's not much to do with what they were saying.
Also yes technically he does break it because people complaining about his episodes in the past compelled them to write him better later on. They left him out because he didn't fit with the view of fans.

Here's the problem, it isn't that the characters don't have flaws. It's not that people fight over the characters and make wrong decisions. It's not that the show is still good after all these years. No matter how much you delude yourselves, the truth will come. It will come in droves, it will come in many ways.
And that flanderization, terrible set-ups for your characters, and non-sensical situations that barely evolve or improve your story(which isn't even yours in the first place, even though you own the series, (Lauren Faust, etc.)). Has diminished and destroyed any wonder or interest that anyone has had for the show.
You are the problem, not us, we just watch your "Entertainment" and see it crumble, while you whine about how we are being obtuse.
