It dragged a little at the start, but picked up when they encountered pinkie as an evil alicorn.
This should have been extended to a two parter or 3 parter like others have said, and had pinkie scatter the mane six amongst the chaos dimension like an inverted version of Return of harmony. Have the mane six have to overcome a bunch of random hurdles pinkie's made.
Then have pinkie BEAT discord, but have her realize that she has way more fun with her friends and willingly give up her power rather than be alone with the power forever. Would work much better with the general friendship theme.

Story too rushed.
His dismension established as a source of his magic which isnt the case.
Jokes completely unfunny.
Dialogues lack proper editing.
Some random "Hi Amy" shoutout in the comic, probably artists inside joke to appease his pal.
Overall wasted premise of something that could have been an awesome episode. It wasn't even a Pinkie/Discord story, just mostly Discord/Fluttershy with him interacting with Pinkie in last 3 pages.

Pretty much agree with some of the previous comments. Pretty good comic, but too rushed. It should have been longer, the premise was great, and I feel that they could have easily written a couple comics with this story.
The characterizations were good, but I didn't like Starlight's role. She's only in like four pages, but in half of them she's literally telling Twilight what to do. But that's not even a surprise any more so whatever.

I don't think I've ever been in an artbook story time where a number of people weren't mad. All the what-if and could-have-been/should-have-been posting goes off the charts.
Even though there's no guarantee any of the discarded concepts would be executed well if they were put in the final product.

Was Discord born there? If so, why is he the only sapient creature living there? Wouldn't the realm enjoy itself more if there were more people? More people, more chaos after all.
If Discord came from outside the chaos realm, then how did he get there the first time since he wouldn't be able to open dimensional rifts prior to arriving?
I think I'll stick to this story being non-canon until these questions are answered, even if it was a fun read.

they mention in the comic the idea of discord having to "top off his tanks".
it seems more like he goes there, gathers up his energy from it, and then leaves-- he presumably doesn't have the FULL dimension at his control, just enough as he can store in him.
Tirek probably stole all the energy that Discord had stored up and severed his ability to draw more magic from the dimension, but that's it: When Tirek would steal magic he wouldn't actually GAIN their powers, but would "convert" their power into more of his own magical power--- It's like dumping gasoline on a fire, the gasoline's gone so you can't use the Fire to power a car, but the fire still gained energy.
By comparison, what I mean is that Tirek could only do a couple limited actions such as Firing lasers, having super strength and invulnerability from stealing magic. He wasn't able to teleport, create shields, ect. after stealing pony magic. His method of stealing magic didn't bestow on the person the abilities of those he stole it from, so he probably destroyed the ability to draw more chaos magic from the dimension when he "converted" discord's magic into a power source for himself.
