so my friend insists that she isn't transgender -- just a femboy -- but i feel like it's possible she might be in denial? i'm very worried about her. among other things she.....
1) has been taking estrogen for quite some time.... she started early last year, and even though she's developed more than most mtf's in that span of time, she insists on continuing to take it. but she tells me that that doesn't make her any less of a boy
2) ....after several months on hormones she began growing her hair out, and by now it's at a normal female length, styled in a very feminine/female way
3) she crossdresses..... all the time. but she insists that this is just her style and it has no implications about her gender
4) she isn't strict about getting other people to do this, but she never refers to herself with male pronouns.... only female ones. she also uses a distinctly female name, as opposed to the male one which she was given at birth. to be fair, she's used many nicknames and aliases since she was little, but she's been using this particular alias exclusively for the past several months
5) she's trained her voice to sound much higher/lighter, like a girl's voice
now all of that seems pretty clear to me..... but she insists that she's still a boy, just a very pretty and feminine boy. is that possible? or do you think she's deep in denial at this point?

Since Im 18 I have started to feel attracted to the idea of being a female (i used to create fake accounts to pretend I was a cute girl, and sometimes I did the same but in a naughty way, I also started creating female characters in videogames around that age).
I also started dressing more androgynous and lose a lot of weight so I have a kinda feminine shape.
But I was never feminine as a kid, never wanted to dress as a girl or played with dolls or hanged out with girls, neither I was masculine like sports or flirting, I was just awkward and alone.
Im 24 now and my mother told me she is willing to support me, Im not really that happy because after so many years of repression I fucked up my brain a lot.
But my problem is that now my mother says she dont believe me Im trans since she have been looking about it and its always young kids that show faggotry signs at very young age the ones that are trans and I never did. She keeps asking me to just admit Im gay and I like guys and that she doesnt care if Im the male or the female in the relationship.
She also said something about me being schizoid (diagnosed) and that because of that I always want things but doesnt really means I have that problem or that it will fix anything, or something like that, i didnt paid much attention because I was too bad and she was talking too much stupidity.

It's not always obvious in childhood, some trans people don't realize who they are until they're married and have children. You need to take the time to get to know yourself, and maybe see a therapist, but definitely don't let other people tell you that you're not trans.

Its hard for me to tell. I'm bipolar and I was anorexic and constantly suicidal.
I did get nonstop stabbing pains in my stomach.
I tried to force myself to be gay once but my dick refused to work and im a /d/ickgirl and could easily masturbate like 15 times a day back then.
I always had gynecomastia but it always felt like my boobs werent big enough.
Now that they are like b or c they don't have that phantom limb feeling anymore.
I still feel it around my butt.
I get extremely depersonalized and I feel completely unattached to my body.
