What is an assault pistol /k/?
It's a kind of pistol used by lazy assholes who can't be bothered to check the catalog before they post.

i seen some nice ones on alibuba and they was listed for airsoft but i was thinking that they might work.
>design New Zealand airforce roundel
>choose a flightless bird
What did they mean by this?
Nothing you fucking autist, it's a lazy designed rounder that's easy to make.
NZ basically has no air force, so, it's appropriate!
I dunno OP, why does Australia have a kangaroo or Canada have a maple leaf? Probably because it's a clearly identifiable shape that you don't need to spend time looking into a book to figure.
Would you be able to identify a kea? Would you know that it's native to New Zealand? Or can you identify a kiwi easier in the split second you see it through binoculars or dropping off troops as you naturally swivel a rangefinder at it?
Please help me /k/
Do I have to pay another $200 on top of shipping for a transfer tax when you buy a handgun from gunbroker.com for the 4473 form???
Used Glock 21, $300, plus shipping $30, plus $40 transfer fee at gunshop, PLUS $200 for the 4473 tax form?
I'm such a noob, I apologize to whoever is generous enough to spell this out for my dumbass
>>34257264
No, my friend. you don't
>>34257264
Also $40 is pretty Jewish of you FFL to charge
>>34257264
The only $200 tax form that I know of is for NFA shit, so no you shouldn't.
>going on 3 months waiting for FOID approval
>he lives in a cuck state
>meanwhile, there are states like Washington or Virginia that are resting on a knife's edge as far as gun laws
You have only yourself to blame.
>>34256993
I've been waiting 4 months to have my citizen tuned up. just chill.
it's loud when it's quiet and it's quiet when it's loud.
>>34256865
Earfuck a bullet.
>>34256865
If staying in quiet places for an extended period of time doesn't work, then you can't. I've lived with EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE for literally as long as I can remember. You can only learn to work around it. Even though my hearing is sub-optimal, I still do better than most people at distinguishing sounds in loud places, and detecting quiet noises.
>you will never become a sentient tank in your lifetime
So I recently got a veto 12 and I'd like to suppress it.
I have a design for a shotty silencer.
3 OD 2.75 ID wall thickness of .125 316 stainless steel seamless tube
60 degree cone type baffles .125 wall thickness made of 416 steel
316 seamless tube for the inner shotgun tube. This tube would go through the baffle and would have lines cut in it which is how the gas would go into the baffles.
End and thread cap would have protruding portions for this tube to thread unto.
14 inches length, probably 16 baffles total.
Also modular as the main suppressor tube is a two piece with threading so you can also have a compact 7 inch suppressor.
My question is how big in inne diameter should the inner shotgun tube Be? Would .76 inches be fine or should I step up to .781 inches?
Second question, with the baffles being so thick is a spacer necessary? Say I wanted to shoot 338 Lapua or 416 barret, could without risk or would I still want a 2 inch spacer?
"What's the most you've ever lost in a coin toss?"
You can not be an idiot/gunsmith. Best course of action.
If you have to ask any of these questions in here of all places then you really shouldn't be making your own silencers.
Ya op yur gon need to calibrate the philiphorm baffles t 9/16ths standard maclauren. Then yur gon have to drill out 2/54th baffles on all ur dex-ismometers. Then use the gorenstein mechanism to stereo-isolate the furenhassel coramites.
Then slap on a nice coat of paint and ur done.
How are the AK kits from arms of America?
I've been wanting an AK underfolder for some time and the price for their kits is reasonable.
Pic related, what I'm looking at getting.
>>34256389
>milled
You dont want this kit
>>34256405
Okay, where can I find a decent priced stamped underfolder then?
Also, I didn't think Romania used milled AK's?
The description says it's a stamped ak.
Do SARH missiles still have utility in modern warfare? It seems like ARH missiles are superior in all aspects.
bump for op, am curious.
>>34256382
They are cheap and are used in ESSM and russian AA (Buks, S-series)
>>34256382
In installations, their flaws are lessened. Sure, the radar returns need to be strong enough to track, but a Burke has a big fucking radar. Yeah, illumination needs to continue, but a Buk isn't exactly going to crank a HARM. In aerial use, they're objectively inferior to an active weapon, but, if you're broke, I'd take having 100 Sparrows over having 10 AMRAAMs.
I just sharpened that bayonet on my sks, and now whenever I shoot, I have to wear fucking welding gloves, or else my hands get cut up.
Anyone else get this problem
>>34256186
bayonets aren't supposed to be sharp, just pointy.
>>34256186
M8 you sharpened the wrong part it's supposed to be sharp in the part that folds under the rifle
>>34256186
Why the fuck did you sharpen both sides?
