Recommendations for good bear protection? Also fuck bear spray.
Also, you'd have to be retarded to carry a .50 handgun and claim that its for "bear defense" right? Seems like small pecked defense to me, but I honestly don't know.

I've narrowed my choice of optic down to two...the Steiner M5XI 3-15x50 and the Nightforce ATACR F1 4-16x42.
This will be a midrange optic for my .308 sako trg22. I will be shooting at distances of 100, 200, 300, and 600 yards.
Anyone used both or particularly the Steiner? I've held the NF and it was solid but I'm wondering if the extra $700 gets me anything going to the Steiner.
Thoughts or alternatives?

So I'm sure y'all are aware of the latest development with a version of a HPA being snuck into a bill thats being heard tomorrow.
Bottom line is does anyone know the blue label pricing for gemtech and silencerco's respective programs? I might buy one from my dealer tomorrow if it passes since they will fly off the shelves.

What are some good drills i can do to prevent what i believe is jerking the trigger. My 10yd groups look like pic related. this is my second time shooting an automatic so I assume there are numerous things i could be doing wrong.

Basically... more practice. You can sit around with snap caps all day, but the real thing is simply training your body to not get spooked when really loud bangs happen. Also, double up on ear-pros. Wear foamies under your headset. Helped me quite a bit.
Sitting around with snap-caps in your chamber just pulling the trigger will give you a good idea of when the gun will actually go off, though.
