I see people talking about bargains they get at local shops and I think they are all lying. I am never able to find any gun I'm interested in locally for anywhere close to what I can get it online for. I'd gladly pay a 10% premium to save the hassle and get a gun same day but I can't ever get that close.

Based on LGS, pawn and gunshow pricing in my area I can only assume there are an awful lot of people who have no problem overpaying for guns.

I always check local pawn shops for milsurp when im out of town. The vast majority of people dont know anything about milsurp rifles except a few meme tier bits of info so they just see it as an old rifle in a caliber nobody uses and mark it down to a few hundred bucks.

That's the issue right there. Finding deals in pawn shops are few and far between. Don't go in expecting diamonds in the rough everywhere.

On the occasion that you do see a good gun that's over priced, do ask how low they're willing to go, then ask if they'd go lower. If they want it gone and for cash then they'll strike a deal. If not then you just move on.

4/4 The last of Philippines.
Being a mexican myself, I have some empathy and interest for Spain's history. The 19th century was disastrous for the aged and decadent spanish empire, with the loss of cuba and phillipines the once greatest and biggest empire opon earth would die and remain in a shameful and dark 20th century. This movie epitomizes the last hold and grasp of spain on their colonies in the independency of philipines and the american-spanish war. Its quite odd to see well made spanish spoken movies out there, this one is on netflix.

Besides those movies, I could think off (7 samurais) and "Fortress of war" (2010), tho they don't fit well on the idea.
