>Best SxS shotgun under $1,000?
I'm looking for a good "field" double 12g, full length (26"-28" barrels), internal hammers, interchangeable chokes and straight or p.o.w. grip.
I currently like the CZ Bobwhite but I'm open to other suggestions.
I would like to know this too.
Frankly, it's either the CZ or getting a good deal on a used shottie on consignment. Which I did. The shotgun in your OP pic is a Sauer Royal. I bought mine for $600 in a hock shop in Silicon Valley as a 30th Bday present to myself.
There *are* those big clubby EA imports, but I don't think they would make you happy. The CZ looks like a nice trim old-fashioned gun with all the features you are looking for.
What makes one SxS perform better than another?
In Kentucky.
I was thinking of getting some kind of Kalashnikov style rifle, my only real concern is price. Was thinking in the 500USD range. Would that even be possible?

simple answer: no

Bump it up to $600, get a WASR 10.
>>28397720
600 could cut it?
I've seen some WASR-10's for around 500.
Someone just offered me this Lorcin 380 for $250. I've heard a lot of bad things about this gun before. Does anyone have personal experiences with this? Can I fix the double feed issues it apparently has? Is it easy to tear down? Or should I really just completely avoid it?
I figure it's only $250 so wouldn't matter anyways and I'd only be adding experience by trying it out. Thoughts?

I have a bryco .380. Same ergonomics, same quality. It shoots, gives you slide bite because it's for midget hands, and it doesn't always like hollow points. I got mine for 110 back before shooting theaters and schools was hip and kids didn't visibly identify as retards.
It's meh.
>>28397623
>Lorcin 380
>$250
Why do I feel that this gun probably has some criminal history behind it?
>>28397623
spend that money on a bersa. you wont have any problems with it.

Getting my pistol permit this weekend, and I'm looking for the best CCW Pistol in everyon'e opinion. Preferably 9mm and easily concealable.

glock 43
Whatever you are comfortable shooting first and then concealing.
You don't need a design that has "compact" written on it to conceal carry
Glock 19
Is the Lawgiver from the Judge Dredd comics a viable weapon in real life?
More accurately is it realisable for there to be a Handgun featuring semi-automatic and fully automatic fire, that can hold a variety of different ammo types simultaneously, and have security measures making sure it can only be fired by authorised personnel?
In the comics the Lawgiver usually carries 6 different kinds of ammo all at once, and the judge just flips a switch to select ammo types.
the standard issue ammunition types are: Standard, Heat Seeking, Rubber Ricochet, Armor Piercing, Incendiary, Hi-Explosive.
Also in the comics the gun has a palm-print scanner, so if an unauthorized individual attempts to fire the weapon, it explodes in their hand.

Stop taking them, m8. Send them my way instead.
How is this weapon-related?
Can any Ausfags tell me if it's legal to own dummy rifle plates? (Pic somewhat related, either that or shitty hollow plastic plates)
Need something to fill out my training carrier while on leave.

Get airsoft ones?

>>28397733
They will fill it out, but those look like the soft foam ones that bend around. Get some generic hard foam ones by tmc if you want some that wont bend for like 10$. Am airsofter.

Wait...what? What's the point of this?
Currently a nogunz anon looking to buy a gun. This one has gotten my attention the most. Anyone have information and little factoids on how well it handles and shoots, price of ammo?
Fucking AMAZING gun. But ammo is hard to find, SGAmmo has a good deal on PPU.
>>28397552
I like the straight pup design of it, seems a lot more practical when hunting. Or when the enivitable government comes knocking
Bad choice imo, ammo is hard to find and you will not appreciate it as much as cheap ak or ar ammo.
I am also new to guns ( I got my first three within the last 4 months) and I can def tell you that I shoot my mauser way less due to ammo cost / it being a harder recoiling gun. Milsurps are great, but I would recommend an SKS over this, and if you are going with an SKS put down 100 more and get an AR/AK

Rem 870 Express. Simple looking but still looks cool. Just something about wood furnishings I love on guns, especially shotguns.
>>28397341
>not superior Wingmaster or Police
It's like you hate quality.
Browning BPS
Its simply the best, debate me.
>>28397341
If there is something you love about wood furnishing on a gun then please don't buy a new remington 870.
I don't actually know what "snappy" recoil means. I just parrot it because I've heard other people say it.
and I can't really feel much recoil difference between my m9 or my 1911.
>>28415947
Not sure if about guns or tropical birds.
I own a few guns and like to shoot them but my love for firearms comes from a general love of disassembling and figuring out how anything works like cars, electronics etc. Guns are just another machine that I like to tinker with plus the added benefit of going to the range and shooting paper
>>28415947
Shoot a small frame 10mm, or snobby .357.
Alrighty /k/ Colorado HasAGun here. I have been over 2 years buy 3 cans of canned food every shopping trip, buying bottled water and storing half in boxes, 4 water filters, and these are my current arms and helmet. Can't leave room because for water/food because roommate is asleep (he has his own preps). Rate my SHTF Gear. Also prepper thread.
(I am 20 so I cannot get Handgun yet)

I'm diggin the walnut OP.
I'd go for the bubinga ones. Just so when anybody asks you what kind of wood that is, you can swell up your chest and say BOOOBINGAAAAHHH. Try it. Feels manly as hell.

sort of off topic, whats the best concealed carry holster for a Mak? I like appendix carry but the market for mak holsters seems pretty small.
