Bought these http://www.centerfiresystems.com/magglo9-02.aspx
For 5 Bucks a mag
Took them to the range.
The all worked without issue, shooting 115 grain S&B 9mm ammo.
So /k/, how many mags do you have for your primary gun?
>>29916046
Thanks for looking into it. Since you asked, 3-4 for each handgun, all factory.
>>29916046
>So /k/, how many mags do you have for your primary gun?
Five. They don't make cheap mags for my gun.
>>29916046
sitting at 26 AR mags, and 13 glock mags after I ordered these the other day. wanna try to get up to 50 or so AR mags before September
I want to die glorious on the battlefield. I have nothing to lose. All I want is a noble death.

who /famas/ here? honestly i love the thing so damn much. it's beautiful. i'm also a fan of it's prominence in vidya. it's in almost every modern shooter and even though it's "weaker" in some, i still love it.
famas appreciation thread?

That's about the extent of my knowledge. Looks neat though

The roller-locked mechanism is really fucking picky when it comes to brass, and the rifling twist is shit for their current ammo stockpile. I keep hearing 100 meters effective range for most of the F1s because the only ammo that doesn't shed rims or rupture cases in them is loaded for a different twist, mainly thanks to the politicians shutting down the only ammo plant that made ammo it liked, and their new foreign contractor ammo giving them severe case ruptures.
Just putting that out there.
Does anyone know what brand/type of balaclava the Russian military uses?
Bump
Move there and find out

Pick one.
It's not like all Russians use the same type of balaclava.
Post some explosive ordnance here. What is your favorite, or what do they use in your country today?
Other than c4, the m86 anti persuit device
What do you guys think of the Claymore? US troops satisfied with this anti-personnel explosive?
>>29916024
Pretty simple device, works for what it does.
A lot of people love big explosions, but me, personally, I love det cord. You can perform artistry with det cord. Any idiot can plug into a 1000 pound C4 shot, but it takes finesse to blast open a locked box without damaging the contents using some det cord.
Though when it does come to large shots, water shots are hella cool. An improvised boot banger made out of 5 blocks of det cord and a 5 gallon water jug is pretty sweet. Toss it next to a locked freight container and watch that bitch asplode.
This is my first set up, totaling around $1500... Worth it?

...where is your ammo?
AR is fine.
Ditch the rest.

Alright /k/, I've decided on my next purchase but I find myself less than knowledgeable on the specifics so if you could, school me on the fn fal and its variants.

I've been looking into it and kinda want to buy one.
>>29915876
Fuck you Johnny
Get the fuck back to the patch thread so we can get you banned
Can we have a drone thread?
I'm currently working on a CGI model to practice muh max.
I'm going for the futuristic/sci-fi shit, and I thought a whale shaped drone would be cool. Fuck you (but also, thoughts?)
Anyhow, I'm looking for inspo of both sci fi, and real drones, specially those little gems that you find on /k/ rare pictures threads, like connectors, decals on the fuselage, internal mechanisms...
>>29915719
Holy shit, k is fast.
what if you took a whale and replaced its brain with a computer and installed sensors all over it + replaced its eyes with cameras.

Who got the best rations, also any related stories are welcome.
British Army a pretty top tier, heavier than the US ones but it's real food you can live from rather than fast food you survive from for short spells.
Also, mix the hot chocolate powder in the with rice pudding and always save the tissues
>British ration
>Doesn't contain halal food
Classic Firearms is out of stock. Was that it? Did I get fucked by being too poor to afford to buy funs for the last year?
>>29915597
Yes. Go buy a m48 before you are saying the same thing.
>>29915637
The k11s are still in stock. Worth it?

http://www.claremontfirearms.com.au/firearms/military-firearms/
I plan on adding a Mosin 91/30 PU Sniper to my collection along with a Mauser K98.
At what point do you go from "nice and original" to "nicely restored" to "butchered history"?
Would you consider steel whooling the finish off a semi badly rusted gun, then re bluing it "destroyed, restored, or original (as it technically is the original finish, etc)
Same for varnish/shellac/oil. At what point does it stop being a "clean up job" and move into the realm of "now its either going to be restored or butchered"
I bought an SVT-40 and the shellac looked like total ass and was flaking off on the right side, so I stripped that shit off and gave it a couple coats of linseed oil.
>>29915233
Well it depends on what you want. If you want to experiment and try to modernize a gun, i guess its okay.
But you asked for historical value. I believe that using the same finish and wood furniture usually used on the gun is pretty okay. Maybe even something similar in terms of finish, just slightly different. But never modify the core design, like the trigger, action, or barrel length. THEN it is a different gun, and has lost historical value.
In many cases, it depends on the gun. For example, you can get Krag rifles that have been bubba'd for about $300, but a military-spec rifle is closer to $1500. The collectors that pay over $1K for them are totally autistic for the original, pitted blueing.
>you can't kill someone with birdshot
How did this meme start? I'm pretty sure a 12ga 2 3/4" she'll can kill someone, birdshot or no
That's never been said, it's not a meme, and don't try to make it one. Post fewer shitty threads.
