Is using a strong / rope / wire to pump a shotgun like in pic related actually a legit technique?
>>30251042
I haven't watched an Dragon Ball anything since Toonami was still on in the afternoons so maybe there's something I'm missing from the show, but in the picture the shotgun has a sling.
IRL it should be attached to the magazine tube, not the forearm/pump. Looks the same in the picture.
There's no reason to try and rig some string to pump when automatic shotguns exist.
>>30251479
it looks to be in the right place for some of the sling swivels ive seen that go underneath the magazine tube cap
>>30251042
That's a sling you fucking idiot.
What's your favorite civilian subgun style gat /k/?
>Kriss Vector
>Scorpion Evo 3
>PS90
>MPX
>MP5 clone
>Thompson
>Uzi
>MAC
>etc
Hardmode:
>no AR derivatives
>no rifle caliber is better
Discuss, have caliber wars, talk about supression, get mad at Internet strangers
>>30250880
Pic related is an LWRC .45 pdw concept that hasn't been released yet. Takes ump45 mags. Looks sexy.
MPX is my personal choice
>AR/MP5 love child
>AR parts
>AR controls
>Quick and easy caliber change
>Accurate
>Short stroke gas piston
>Rotating locking bolt
>no malfunctions so far without cleaning, when introduced to dirt, sand, and snow.
>More features than an MP5
>Less expensive than an MP5
>>30250880
When vector 2 comes out that, for now P90
I know you're all going to laugh me out of the board, but I need this question answered
What is the best field to enter in the UK military if my goal is to join any of the UKSF regiments?
I originally thought the Royal Navy would have some cushy jobs but there's probably no chance of getting in UKSF from there. Infantry seems the main entry point but if I could get in from any other technical fields I would like that more
Thank you for answers
>>30250509
demolitions/combat engineering.
>>30250509
dont most of the sas come from paratrooper stock?
>>30250545
Combat engineering sounds good, it was one of the jobs I was thinking about a while back
>>30250551
Yeah apparently close to 60%, but i'd rather not go into the paras
I'd actually prefer a job in the SRR or something less gung-ho
Let's say some crazy guy with Assault Rifle is trying to shoot everybody inside a night club.
And all you have is a Taurus Curve. What are your odds against him?
>INB4 someone says Taurus Curve is a queer little homo gun.
>>30250355
Is it an assault rifle or a powerful assault rifle?
>>30250355
The Taurus Curve is a queer little homo gun.
>>30250355
>Implying I'd ever put my life in danger by owning a Taurus
How do people who have to use their gun for defense deal with having no earplugs? That's basically permanent hearing damage. How the fuck do guys shoot intruders using their home defense shotgun with no earplugs?
Generally people feel that hearing damage is preferable to death.
>Possible eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
>Possible death
It's not exactly a hard choice
>>30250017
I remember back when I was a kid. Thanks for the nostalgia. Is your next post going to ask about Santa Claus?
SG Ammo's website is moving slower than molasses here. Maybe bulk ammo options are already sold out. Is this it k? Sandy Vag 2.0? How long will it take the market to recover this time?
I've already gotten in on it like a big old piece of shit. Bought another K of Wolf Gold and a bunch of PMags.
>>30249922
I'd say it would lean heavily on the presidential elections. If Hilary gets it the recovery won't recover or it'll take that much longer. If Trump gets in then it should be an actual recovery and hopefully isn't that short. This is my view on it.
Who else here /sellingguns/?
>mfw panicky retards pay me panic prices for my stuff
Hey /k/omrades.
What's a good place to order one of those ALTYN or TIG or MASKA helmets from that are real?
Any good sites/sellers?

Is a weapon light a bad idea on your CCW? Is it even necessary?
>>30248974
I don't really see the point in having a light on a CC, if your drawing you can probably already see your assailant.
>>30248974
Of course it's not "necessary", but I mean if you can make it work then why not have it? I imagine a laser would be especially useful in a self defense situation, considering you probably won't be looking down the sights anyway.
>>30248974
I ask because I'm tempted to CC a setup like pic related in a shoulder holster. But while it looks cool, and would double as a good HD/bedside gun, my brain keeps saying "just trade it for a G17 and slap some night sights on, you mall-ninja!"
>/pol/ reporting on in, I was sent here to get /k/'s analysis of this Kevlar helmet that saved a SWAT's life in this mornings hostage rescue in orlando, florida.
>gunman was shooting an AR15, either chambered in .223 or 5.56, idk.
>does /k/ still think kevlar helmets are super lame?

who the fuck ever said head protection was lame? also we have another thread about this. Sage.

Right here, you are looking at the difference between a desk job and a funeral.
Omar's Arsenal SGL appears to have been far more effective than Breivik's .223 mini 14 and Lanza's ..223 Bushy combined?
AK fear da win?
>>30248149
Who said he was using an Arsenal?
>>30248160
He is muslim so he obviously had to use an ak :^)
I got inside Intel from OPD
Is there any verification on what he used? The media says he used an "assault rifle". Are they using the meme definition, an actual fully auto AR, or did home boy just use a bump fire stock?
>>30248122
semi-auto ar15
it's convenient for them to use AR as a backronym for "Assault Rifle"
22lr AR
seriously
>>30248162
But how? .22lr couldn't even kill Ronald Reagan, I don't see how it could've killed that many people.
For what purpose?

Tactical booyakah
>>30247768

I just received about 300 round of Tulammo in 223. Has anyone had experience with this in the AR platform?
I've heard/read a lot of things but I wanted to ask if anyone has tried it personally here.
From what I've read or seen, half of the people it gets a malfunction and the other half just fine. I don't know what to believe
>>30247557
If your gun doesn't suck it'll run just fine
I've fired 500 rounds of it through my BCM without any problems. Not even a relube or clean just to see if a malfunction would occur.
>>30247557
It is dirty and low powered, steel cases expand slower letting carbon into the chamber then contract slower after firing than brass which can lead to stuck cases. The projectiles are copper or zinc washed steel jacketed which erodes barrel steel faster than copper gliding jackets.
That all said, I'd rather you be out shooting than not able to afford brass cased and copper jacketed ammo. If it what you have or can afford, use it.
Apparently the British and Germans have built the longest amphibious bridge at 350 metres. Pretty fucking nato.

They know that boats exist, right?
>>30247220
I don't think moving a cavalry brigade across a river in boats is very efficient.
>>30247220
I don't think you understand bridges and why they're used instead of boats
