If the brass is made of a decent alloy and isn't corroded, annealing should fix the issue of split casings. military brass is often pretty hard (brittle) to prevent casings from sticking in the chamber.

Can anyone recommend best aftermarket/replacement locking rings for dies?

Anyone know why brass is so damn expensive? I am trying to start reloading for .308, and everywhere I look the damn brass costs as much or more than factory ammo. At this point I am thinking of just buying factory ammo, shooting it, and reusing that brass.

In Georgia you have to be a resident of the state with current identification and proof of residence (if you've moved since getting the ID).
