Is there a historic reason for why Germanic's keep trying to crash Europe with no survivors?

Are they eternally butt hurt about something?

No, but it its Jews who are butthurt that they never had a nation with great culture and heritage other than what was recently created on Palestinian land.

While Germans have often done much harm to Europe, I think it is important to remember the role that the eternal Swede played in dividing Europe in religious wars and how it is unyielding in its support of Germany's modern attempt at destroying Europe.

Plan To Rebuild the Colossus of Rhodes

>A 500-foot bronze statue of the Greek god Helios, towering over the entryway to a port.

>A collective of European architects has proposed to build a 21st-century version of the Colossus of Rhodes, the ancient Greek statue erected on the island of Rhodes in the 3rd century B.C. The new statue would stand 500-feet tall and serve as a cultural center as well as a lighthouse.

Why did Latin stop being the main lingua franca? Did a bunch of hipsters in the late middle ages just decide "duuuude, fuck it, lets not learn the language of diplomacy, education, literature, and commerce, lets learn FRENCH HONHONHON!"

Devas or Boddhisattvas?

Who's superior according to Mahayana theology?
113 posts and 15 images submitted.
>>
Bodhisattvas

The celestial realm of the Devas is still a conditioned existence
>>
Boddhisattvas are considered superior. They are beings who have reached enlightenment but who put off their Buddhahood (paranirvana) in order to assist all other life-forms in reaching enlightenment.

Devas are deities in the Heaven-realms, and are very much like the Olympian gods: they are powerful, but still flawed and unable to escape from the karmic cycle themselves.
>>
THE DEVAS/DAEVAS ARE REPTILIAN USURPERS FROM THE EAST; THE AHURA/ASURA ARE THE "GOOD" ONES; THE ARYANS THAT FOUNDED THE INDUS VALLEY CIVILIZATION.

How do Catholics even justify their being on a board dedicated to historical matters yet continue to fervently defend the Catholic Church?

Putting their atrocities and abuses aside, let us look at it from the perspective of academia. In their persecution of various "heretics" (Cathars, Bogomils) in the Medieval period, the Church establishment destroyed all their documents and scriptures, and such was the extent that to this day, we cannot - with authority - claim to know exactly what the Cathars or Bogomils even believed in, which in turns makes it harder to study other lost belief-systems that seemingly contributed to the Cathar/Bogomilistic ideas (Paulicianism, Manicheanism, Valentianism, other Gnostic or dualist sects of which we also know little - if anything - due to their eradication by the mainstream Christian churches).

You're on a history board defending an institution which has a history of destroying and completely eradicating historical records and making the study of it muddier and harder.

If it was possible for me to destroy the stupidity of the WE WUZ KANGZ movement, I would do it in seconds. Some knowledge is so fantastically retarded, that it doesn't deserve being preserved.
>>
>>1269662
All historical knowledge is valuable.

Even the WE WUZ movement is valuable in its own certain way, for it would show historians of the future the sociological conditions and trends among black Americans in the 21st century.

Just because it's factually incorrect does not mean it's not valuable in historical terms.

They're godless pagans trying to deceive other people into joining their godless church.

Plus they get to vent their frustration and murderous rage against actual Christians.

I'm genuinely curious as to how the idea of the trinity in Christianity got started. Because I've read the Bible and even looked into the history of the church, and I don't see how anyone got the idea of the trinity.

To me it seems obvious that Jesus references god as someone distinct and separate from himself, and this would fit with prophecy that concerned the messiah as a distinct entity who wasn't god. So, it just seems like this idea of the trinity comes out of fucking nowhere and is stupid. But clearly there was lots of debate over it and people took the idea seriously.

So, how did that idea get to become so popular?

It's really fucking obvious desu:

>Commandment clearly states that you shall have no other gods
>But we want to worship Christ and the Holy Spirit because they were holy n shit
>So let's just call God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit "God" that way it's not really polytheism it's actually monotheism :^)

>I'm genuinely curious as to how the idea of the trinity in Christianity got started.
The Trinity has always existed, before time itself did

Literally the first few lines of the Gospel of John. It is also the most authentically "Christian" gospel.

Did the American internment of Japanese Americans during WW2 have any justification besides paranoia?

Like was there actual credible intelligence that there were enough Japanese on the west coast to actually create enough of a threat to warrant such a flagrant disregard of basic human rights?

Honestly I don't think so, there was a Japan town in my hometown and in it was a Japanese temple and school. When they were detained they burned down the temple and confiscated their farms and homes then sold them.

Even though Japanese farmers introduced citrus cultivation in many parts of California and contributed to California's agriculture immensely looking at my region the deportations were an excuse for poorer whites to just take from such a thriving group.

Success breeds jealousy so to speak.
>>
>>1272705
Japs in America were caught actually helping Japan so I'd say there was something more than paranoia.
