Is peace between one and another possible?
I just can't fathom how we could reach eternal peace, unless we all move to single conciousness.
All the conflict stems from being unable to understand each other. All the current attempts at having peace look unfulfilled, because there is no 100% trust, 100% understanding and 0% of emphaty for one another. It looks laughable to even attempt peace at our current state, might as well be in eternal war until we become so disgusted with conflicts even basic ones between one and another that we are forced to hate it.
Will this dream ever come true /his/?

These motherfucking primitives can manage, I think we can find a way.

>All the conflict stems from being unable to understand each other.
No. Most conflict is the result of two entities desiring the same commodity.
>0% of emphaty
Empathy is bad?
>Is peace between one and another possible?
Sure. Just invent virtual reality and immortality, give each human a completely separate realm to be God in, erase the memories of their human lives and leave a race of eternal robot servants to watch over them.
>>2045920
>All the conflict stems from being unable to understand each other.
Not really. Like >>2045994 says, a lot of conflict just comes from someone wanting what someone else has. And they can each understand why the other wants it, they probably want it for the same reason, but that doesn't help resolve anything.
>the only morality left in the Catholic Church is in liberation theology, and even that's dying. Prove me wrong
Read the Bible and you will find that Jesus is explicitly for the poor. Name a nonliberation theology priest who you can call a true martyr. Romero should be canonized
>>2045889
>Jesus is explicitly for the poor.
Jesus is explicitely for the rejection of the material.
>>2045889
Romero wasn´t into liberation theology and wasn´t even leftist. He was killed for exposing death squads. Liberation theology was made by some brazilian bishops.
>le jesus was a hippie for the poor xDDD
t. clueless atheists and marxists
What hero's, from epic poems or actual larger than life historical figures, are the greatest?
What do their stories tell us about the human condition?
Which hero best embodies what it means to be a human/ is the most relatable to ordinary guys like me?
Also recommend some epic poems /his/.
Jesus Christ.
He died for the sins of mankind. The perfect lamb.
The Son of God resurrected and ascended to the right hand of God.
All who believe in Him get eternal life.
>jesus
>hero
>man
>real
Odysseus is pretty relatable as far as epic heroes go. He's not the strongest or the fastest, even though he's really strong and fast, but gets by with his with and charm. Also the Odyssey is the most readable epic by far imo
Did Hitler actually have any respect for the Japanese, or was he just paying lip service, and would have called Ethiopians southern Aryans if it got men fighting against the Allies?
He espected them, but that doesnt mean anything. He was already strapped for resources.
Himmler spoke of an eventual war of annihilation with the "mongoloid races" that the next generation of true Aryans™ would have to prepare for once the Soviets were defeated.
>>2045875
Himmler was the greatest sperg of the Reich and it was a miracle he was competent enough in what he was doing as an official to not get shot for it.
OP asked about Hitler.
>dude evil lmao
>dude short lmao
are these the ONLY two modern views of him
>>2045850
His narcissism led to thousands of deaths, how the fuck is that not evil?
>>2045852
he was no more evil than the other european tyrants of the time/ the british who kept assasinating people
>>2045852
>His narcissism led to thousands of deaths
You gonna need some non-anglo sources for that statement m8
How bad was Lenin's Russia, really? Majority of the horror stories you hear about the Soviet Union stem from Stalinist and later regimes. Meanwhile all the greats of Soviet art and literature seem to come from the time Lenin was still well and alive - Malevich, Mayakovsky, Brodsky, Pasternak all come from the 1920's.
When the February revolution broke out in Russia, Lenin found himself stranded in sleepy, neutral Switzerland. The only way home was through Germany, and so the exiled and agonisingly frustrated Bolshevik leader, acting through a slimy intermediary aptly named Helphand, negotiated the deal to get himself and his disciples shipped back to Russia.
Once on the train Lenin took control of the toilet paper and would only issue two leaves to those in need...

>How bad was Lenin's Russia, really?
Awful.
Go back to /r/FULLCOMMUNISM.

What is the longest name in history?
And has anyone named their child Hitler just for the shits and giggles?
>>2045508
Probably someone German, Germans have 15+ letter compound words.
>>2045508
>And has anyone named their child Hitler just for the shits and giggles?
Yes. It was a burger of course.
>>2045508
So let's say Hitler never came into power, but Mussolini stayed in power.
How would history look different?
Would Mussolini have been deposed and fascist Italy defeated? Or would it have lasted on?
How would fascism be viewed today?
Also, unrelated note, how bad was Mussolini? Not bad as in incompetent, but bad as in evil?
>Bad as in evil
He did use chemical weapons in Ethiopia which is a quite brutal act, his general incompetence and ego and the incompetence of his army did prevent him from committing major atrocities and was it lead to the pathetic performance in Greece and North Africa.
I think Mussolini would have been deposed, but not because he was Hitler or started a world war. He'd probably just make a major fuckup down the line and there would be a regime change.
>>2045457
He'd be remembered much like Franco and Salasar, as a "strongman" dictator of a poor southern state.
Who killed him?
everyone - cia, fbi, oil, military, the rich, LBJ
he had a lot of enemies
>>2045394
Marilyn Monroe.
Was Harvey the Eliot rodgers of economic ideology?
It's 1936 and you're Adolf Hitler what do you do?
>>2045359

Did Jesus Exist? If so, was he telling the truth? if yes, why do people not believe?
>Did Jesus Exist?
yes
>If so, was he telling the truth?
sometimes
>if yes, why do people not believe?
no proof to back it up
>>2045174
>If so, was he telling the truth?
>sometimes
How does this work? Who determines whether he was telling the truth or not? Wouldn't it be a matter of "belief"? Why do you think he was "sometimes" telling the truth?
Why isn't /his/ a christian board even if Jesus existed?
>Communism fails every single time.
>It wasn't real communism.
>capitalism works
>kills millions every year
>>2045129
hasn't been tried
You can't get to communism if you try. It has to come about as an evolution of capitalism.
Just found a pretty neat category on Wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Obsolete_occupations
Not a regular of /his/ but I think you guys would be the only people who might care
>>2045097
Soon that will be every occupation when the robots take over.
I think it's interesting how we have entirely obsolete species, Horses. For thousands of years we've needed millions of horses and people to feed and shoe them and in less than a hundred years that all ended.
>>2045110
How will horses ever recover?
What does it mean to have a red white and blue flag? Why do based nationalist states like Rome, the USSR, and China have a red and gold flag?
>>2044986
The red on Soviet and Chinese flags symbolizes blood of the proletariat who died fighting the bourgeoise or some shit. Not sure about the gold.
>soviets
>anti-racism

>Roman Empire (you could make a weak case for the Republic)
