Is buyer's remorse a common feeling with AMD products?

As far I know FuryX is still powerful as 1080.
Are you one of those who think running games under 100fps is bad?
>>60013233
>As far I know FuryX is still powerful as 1080.
Are you fucking kidding me, it's 1070 level in best case scenario
Hey /g/. What is safer to use in a public PC (my uni's), a pendrive, USB with my phone or sending my work to my mail?
Inb4 nothing
Use the pendrive to boot linux

Here's the deal: I am trying to come up with ways to make Linux seem more attractive to high class people like celebrities. Imagine if Kim Kardashian came out and said: "hell yes, I love linoox, i mean linux!! it's so cute!"
I think Linux has great potential, but it's lagging behind right now. What we need is a way to attract users via billboards, TV commercials, celebrity endorsements. First of course we need a better distro but the point stands: It has to be cool to use Linux, to spend 0 dollars on getting a better deal. #getdownwithlinux would be a great tag line, but correct me if I'm wrong
Imagine if Tom Cruise came out and said: "hey yeah, I use Ubuntu. It's just a great fit for me"
These celebrities are the prime non-tech users. I think it would be a great user story to imagine what we would need to do to attract them to Linux
>>60012462
this is incredibly autistic
>>60012462
first make a linux that's not shit.
I assume you mean Desktop Linux distros. Face it, desktop Linux distros suck and user experience, multimedia, and seamlessly integrateable app availability.
Besides, plenty of "celebs" are already using Android, which is essentially linux with the right kind of UI and MM polish.
>redhat rolling total DC outage with no end in sight

redhat cucks once again blown the FUCK out.
>>60012170
what is your definition of 'no end in sight'?
>>60012170
redhat now botnet
>he pirates with torrents
>he commits armed robbery at high sea
It's better than the alternatives for anything except video games, for which usenet is the better alternative if you've joined proper communites (e.g. OPG).
>>60012096
Well, shit happens when you go out and travel on the seas
Now that nobody uses discs in year of the lord 2017, how are you utilizing that drive bay?
>>60011962
Going to wheel back another decade or two and slap an lto3 or 4 tape drive in that bitch.

Guy is asking $1600
Worth it? or nah
>>60011864
it's terrible for $1600
You can get a new one much better for cheaper if you build yourself.
>>60011864
The whole thing was worth like $1600 new 3 years ago at best.
Any recommendations? Thank you for the input, I'm always skeptical whenever it comes to people selling their own PC's.
How do we make a internet where casual normalfags don't use it? Something like the deep web? That got raided by pedos, crooks, Feds and then normies
Any thoughts?
we already have that
4chan.org
>>60011964
Sorry but normalfags are here already it's all because of those stupid youtubers going "10 times 4chan went Crazy" I see people typing kek outside of here, no thank you
Stop trying to be a special snowflake, faggot. Go to 2xchan if you want a dead site that nobody visits. Any good new place will be overwhelmed in a matter of months
So this is the power of Ryzen

Found the problem.

The benchmarks are invalid!
what cloud service do you use? i currently have a digitalocean droplet that i'm not doing much with and i was considering installing owncloud or something similar, but i want whatever i install to be as secure as possible. i was thinking about saying fuck it and just using dropbox, but i don't really want anyone having access to my shit but me. i also use this little server to host a few static html pages and run a znc. what would you do in a situation like this? how would you keep your data secure? mainly asking because one of the things i'd be syncing would be my keepass database, and i definitely don't want anyone having access to that.
Cons
>Servers are located in Texas
>10GB free
Pros
>don't need to download to access the files just an internet connection
>It reads like a disk drive (P:)so even low storage tablets like my Surface 3 can access all the files I have without downloading anything.
>can upgrade to 20GB
It's my favorite storage since now that customs check your laptop I can sign out immediately beforehand and when I'm in another country I can immediately sign in and access all my files without downloading everything again.
>>60011834
Use webdav
nextcloud is where the devs defected to.
pretty cool and easy to host if you've got some experience with loonix. got a domain and a letsencrypt cert for https, got my calendar and contacts synced with caldav.
would recommend if you have sometime to spare to get it going and maintaining it.
I is got an business Idea.
I want to make hoverboards.
In the movie back to the future, they had one where they jumped on and flew all around the place.
They made one of them and nobody has thought about making more...
so i just do this 2 simple steps
> get a hoverboard wood
> ur job is ot make it fly n stuff
I want to make money of this idea, where do i start?
Do a kickstarter.
>>60011809
u want to earn money for just removing the wheels from a skateboard? what the fuck
>>60011809
>They made one of them
kek, those are special effects
Post yours ITT, be honest.

Here's mine, yellow used to have a purpose but I've removed the unsure ones as I've updated this over time.
I'm not giving up youtube though, and I've dumped too much money into steam as a teenager to uninstall it. Gonna build a nice little linux server once I get the cash and use it to replace dropbox and gmail. Not sure when I'm going to replace intel because I have several builds that use intel hardware. I think the botnet for that is mostly a meme anyways

Greetings from /sci/ everyone, just wanted to show you guys that us /sci/entists can code too!

I used to write joke programs like this, only'd I'd write a program to generate the source code.
You seem to give the impression that this isn't a joke and you really did hardcode every possible win condition because you're fucking retarded and don't know the first thing about algorithms.
I want to laugh at this but then I remembered that most of the cunts in my DSA course will write shit like that anyways
