Hello /g/
Can anyone tell me if this computer would be suitable for video editing? It's built as a gaming computer but I don't know the difference.
Here's the Specs:
Intel i7 4790k Quad core CPU
Gigabyte G1 Gaming nVidia Geforce 4gb DDR5 GTX 970
HyperX Ram 8gb of ddr3 at 1866 mhz
120gb SSD (has OS on this, so it boots and shuts down in about 6 sec flat)
1tb HDD (storage for games)
MSI gaming mother board with killer Ethernet
LG Blue ray Disc writer/reader
ASUS DvD Disc writer/reader
Roswell Glacier 700W PSU
Roswell Challenger case
Windows 7 Pro (Can upgrade to windows 10 for free if wanted)
Accessories included with PC:
Razer Blackwidow mechanical chroma keyboard
Razer Mamba chroma TOURNAMENT EDITION mouse
Razer Firefly Chroma mousepad
Razer BlackShark Stereo Headset
Razer Leviathan Soundbar and Sub woofer
Lenovo 22" 1080p 60mhz monitor
Guy is asking $1600
Worth it? or nah
>>60011864
it's terrible for $1600
You can get a new one much better for cheaper if you build yourself.
>>60011864
The whole thing was worth like $1600 new 3 years ago at best.
Any recommendations? Thank you for the input, I'm always skeptical whenever it comes to people selling their own PC's.

hi op
thats a shitty pc dont buy it
also is it used? kind of weird to include literally everything including a soundbar and headset. mousepad too, gross

Ryzen R7 1700
Asus B350plus motherboard
Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-3600
ASUS ROG Strix 1080ti
MSI RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC GAMING
Samsung 960 EVO Series - 500GB NVMe
Theres a $1300 build with new components that will blow that one away for video editing. Monitor and case not included. Gfx card is kind of shit for video editing (better than the 970 tho). Upgrade when you can afford it.

Oops, that 1080ti shouldnt be in there, unless you're willing to spend up towards 2000$ for full build with monitor etc
