Just a daily reminder
All those """"""""""programmers""""""""" and script kids who think otherwise may go and die in a cave.

Sounds like an excuse shit programmers make when they steal code from Pajeet's blog

Are they the good guys, /g/?
Only nigger would assume that microsoft is a single unanimous entity that is either good or bad. I guess there are both respectable engineers who care about quality of their product and money hungry botnet spreading fuckers.
>>60393249
This. I work for one of the big, old tech companies. If Microsoft are anything like them then it's filled with good people trying to do their best while hamstrung by management and the obligation to make the company as much money as possible.
>>60392783
They're the bad guys for creating proprietary shitware in the first place, this is just their comeuppance.
Hey /g/ I was bored and upon hearing about the malware attack I decided to install KFSensor on my shitty cloudatcost box to watch the botnets.
You can join me too by visiting http://novnc.com/noVNC/vnc.html?autoconnect=true&host=uk.anonymousey.us&port=7778
Been running for a day and already recorded 8,023 connection attempts from all different services/ports.

Will wincucks ever learn?
linux doesn't have any software though
And it isn't like linux has magical security, it's just too irrelevant for people to bother targeting with malware
Do you seed?
Not anymore. I think I seeded around 200tb total, my ration on the only tracker with ratio I use is ~15 and that'll last me for life.
Hells nah.
I already have barely any upload speed to begin with. Not gonna give it up since I'm hosting a ton of shit for myself on my server, and I really don't want the transfers to be even slower than they already are.

Well, in his defense it shouldn't be forced.
Imagine someone forcing you to wear a helmet as soon as you touch your bicycle.
>>60392214
You mean like seatbelt laws?
Or mandatory car insurance?
Or property tax?
All shit you're forced to deal with for shit you already own?

you're a manchild and you shouldn't be allowed to have technology

Good thing I am allowed and faggots like you don't decide the rules.
>4 inches
wew lad, you might as well have no screen at all.

Rather be a manchild than a manlet.
>systemd is becoming more and more difficult to avoid as more distros start using it
Is this really what freedom is about?
>>60391460
>he doesn't use Devuan.
No, software freedom is about the 4 principles of freedom, including the ability to change the software yourself among others.
Kill yourself if you are too stupid to realize that and think that free software is about choice.
I repeat, kill yourself.
>>60391541

>has 4 rules
LMAO
So, how are you liking your Ryzen CPU, /g/?
I'll be getting the R7 1700 on Monday
Ryzen General thread I guess
I like gaming so i dont have one
>>60391268
It's great, it's significantly improved my compile times and it no longer sounds like there's a jet turbine in the room (I came from a 220W FX-9590). NVMe support's nice, the speed improvement isn't astounding but it is noticeable, especially on Windows.
Great upgrade from my 2500K to 1700, set for the next 4-5 years :)

Are gaming mice a meme?
Do they make any difference if you're not a pro level player?
I have a wired MS Basic USB mouse, and in Osu's mouse dialog it tells me I have about ~9ms latency, and my Bluetooth mouse is only about ~15ms. What do you guys with gaming mice get? Will having a gaming mouse make a difference at all, in Osu, CS, TF2 etc?
Also, do you guys know of better mouse benchmarking/speccing software than Osu?
They are more precise when doing small adjustments
Anything with "gaming" in the name is a meme marketed towards tech-illiterate dumbasses.
g502 is good, but I don't use it for gaymin
profiles are seriously great
Explain this.
>cycle audio tracks - # (shift+3, two fucking keys)
>cycle sub tracks - j
>you can't cycle audio tracks backwards
>b-but you can edit input.conf
Classic.
>Some suggestions are controversial, like mapping ESC to exit fullscreen.
Things tend to have more subtitle tracks than audio tracks so it kinda makes sense that you can cycle subtitles more easily.
>>60391222
>there are seriously people on /g/ right now who think that memorizing all of this or having to constantly check a cheat sheet every time you want to cycle a track or show a filename is more efficient than right-clicking with a GUI
>there are seriously people on /g/ right now who don't realize that NGU is objectively and factually better at upscaling 95% of content than anything mpv can use
