Gaown den, publish it, I'll use it. As long as my shitty australian internet doesn't have to download a massive database with torrents, torrent info, comments, etc, that will probably be like >500MB in size.

Opera is the comfiest browser. Prove me wrong.
do the the Norwegian still work on it or is it total chinese botnet now?
>>60384360
vivaldi is the true opera
>>60384360
You mean was.
>>60384392
It's a total chinese botnet browser now. It collects weird stuff and a lot of the original functionality is gone and being replaced with "social media" functions that serves no purpose but bloating the software with junk.
How cumbersome is it to write code that will run on both x86 and ARM?
What's the current state of freedom on tablets?
I like using my smartphone for a lot of small things that don't require powering my workstation, but the fact that I don't have control over it bothers me. In the future I would just like to buy a tablet and put Debian(ARM) on it and have the same control that I have over my regular machine, like coding what I want for it, full hardware access etc. How possible is that at the moment?
just program in c, and you'll be fine
>>60384277
what the hell is ARM?
>>60384277
cross-architecture is pretty easy these days, if you stay in userspace.
cross-OS is still hard.

just found out about ProtonMail encrypted email located in Switzerland, any one use this before?
https://mail.protonmail.com/login
>>60383869
This one is pretty neat. It encrypts your entire mailbox (all emails and attachments, I believe) and stores it on a Swiss server as an encrypted blob. When you log in, the browser downloads this blob. The blob then prompts for a password to decrypt the blob. You can then read your mail.
I signed up for it back when they were gathering users and I had to be put on a waitlist. That was back in 2015. They're pretty reputable (as webmail goes). Most people on this site have at least heard of it. They also have paid subscriptions where you can get extra storage.
Only con is that you can't use an external client like Thunderbird because it can't read the blob.

What are you working on, /g/?
Rewriting C in Idris.
Can /dpt/ solve this in one (ONE) function?
I was wondering how would you go about subtracting generic types. For example, the function (let's call it "without") should be able to pass the following tests:assert([12, 23, 23, 11, 5, 23].without(23) == [12, 11, 5]);
assert("ccxi".without('x') == "cci");
assert("abcderfiibcne".without("bc") == "aderfiine");
assert(["siwwo", "lkaiwmn", "diw"].without("iw") == ["swo", "lkamn" "d"]);
assert(['c', 'd', 'd'].without('d') == ['c']);
assert([234, 301, 322].without(12) == []);
