I'm a fan of puffy vests so I set up this thread as a place for my fellow vest wearing bros to share pictures and down filled wisdom. (Basically a place to bounce vest outfit ideas around)
>>12378061
you're meeming but I think they look sick
Ooooooooo sorry... The puffy vest JUST went out in 2016.. You should stop wearing them immediately and get on the high water pants with loud socks and oversized shoes train. Choo choo
just out of control layering
Is it /fa/ to wear NASA / SPACEX clothing ?

Hey /fa/,
what is your opinion on Nike AF1?
Are these still wearable in 2017?
>>12377440
Your own personal shoe choice doesn't deserve its own thread.
Ignore/hide & sage non-general shoe threads.
>>12377440
yes, everybody should own a pair of these
>>12377440
Yeah but not lows.
I used to be a regular here 4-5 years ago, during the Geobaskets, & givenchy days
I'm just getting out of a relationship that took up all my time, & money.
I've completely lost all of my /fa/ & want to get it back
How has /fa/shion evolved since then?
Wear general ill fitting 90' clothes, call it comfycore or some shit and youll get praised to hell and back
The only relic from my /fa/ days I still have.
>>12377176
Are you fucking kidding me?
That's what was happening when I left.
Looking around this board, everything is the same.
How has fashion not evolved in 5 years?

Looking for fashion advice for the IT field.
I graduate soon and am going to start doing interviews.
My professor says that only managers wear ties, and that everyone else should dress more casually with a collared shirt.
I want to look professional, but not overdress.
My whole life, I have been wearing jeans, t-shirts, and converse. Any basic advice would be of value to me. I know very little about trying to look nice.
Why are you asking a board dedicated to those who have failed in such pursuits you dolt, ask your father or someone with some sense my god
>>12376497
I thought posters here were supposed to have a good sense of fashion. Anyone I have spoken to, that has said they used this board, have always been very fashionable.
Ok, long sleeve button up shirts, jeans are decent but wool or linen pants are better for professional fields, good leather dress shoes (allen edmonds are a good start) and ties are a must (in my opinion) but go for more texture (wool, cotton, knit, less formal than smooth silk). I LOVE jackets and suits, if you "need" it to be more casual go for lighter colors, more patters, and more texture. Don't worry about overdressing, frankly most people don't give a damn, and at most you'll be the well dressed guy in the office.

Can someone explain color theory to me.
From what I have read, if you use the correct rule e.g. triadic, analogous, complementary, split complementary, tetradic or square you can match like every color to every other color given its matched with the other colors in the color scheme, can anyone post examples of it color theory in action or is it just a meme?
Kind of a meme desu. It can be somewhat helpful to know the basics, but ultimately you'll have to use your eyes. It's all subjective, I for one hate equally spaced triadic schemes, but there's nothing "wrong" with them. It's finicky and you might find that a triad of 90 degree spacing is pleasing while one of 88 just isn't. Obviously with clothing you can't be this specific unless you're dying the fabrics yourself, so just match stuff you think looks good.
If you want to, there are many interactive color wheels you can play around with online and it's a lot of fun.

Yeah I usually leave it to intuition

Surely I'm not the only vegan guy on here that has struggled to find any exclusively ethical designers that are any good.
I'll start off with April 77

hi you can just say "vegan" calling it ethical is a loaded statement that suggests veganism is inherently ethical which is widely debated thanks
