Is this the only show to have two characters get together for good without the writing going downhill or one of them needing to disappear?
90s Spider-Man had Peter and Mary Jane getting together for a while, but then they had to have that plotline where Mary Jane went missing.
I don't recall Alex, Clover or Sam getting a boyfriend for more than one or two episodes before they broke up for unknown reasons offscreen.
Clover once got together with a WOOHP agent, but he was reassigned to Australia and he later broke up with her in the last season.
Gumball is still going pretty strong - some even like the current season better than the preceding ones - after he finally got the girl, but it's not over yet, so that remains to be seen.

The later seasons of Futurama has Fry and Leela being together, although their relationship did phase in and out of focus depending on the episode.
As Told by Ginger had a reasonably realistic depiction of (eventually permanent) relationships, not only with Ginger and Darren but with her mom and boyfriend too.

Aladdin
Little Mermaid
Tarzan
Arsenal and Cheshire
Kid Flash and Artemis might be stretching it since she pretended to be dead and all, and Wally ended up dying in a cliff hanger.
Convince me /co/ that Doctor Doom isn't the greatest comic book character ever written
Protip:
You can't
>>78072841
If we can't convince you, why even ask?
>>78072841
>greatest comic book character ever written
>only exist to job to RICHARDS
>>78072841
Not a single good graphic novel at his name.
Doom is good, but only as a supporting character.
Sup /co/
Can anyone help me remember the title of a comic? It was storytimed here some time ago, but I forgot the name.
It was made in Korea but translated into English. The story was about a group of people with super powers, first they fought against some government super guys and later there was some sort of alien invasion. They all had different powers and I don't remember most of them, but the main character had super strong legs. The story starts with him getting his power somehow and then his wife and kid get arrested/kidnapped.
Picture not related.

Cyborg 009?
>>78072744
Nah there weren't any cyborgs, it was more an X-Men mutant kind of thing, except aliens were invlved somehow IIRC.
Ah, managed to find it after all.
In case anyone's interested, it's caled Trace.
/co/ things that happened but you still find hard to believe actually happened
>>78072423
I still find it hard to believe that Phineas and Ferb is more than 8 years old, now.
Still blows my mind how that first Love Handel episode was actually used in my middle school music class and was actually relevant.
>>78072423
>Kingdom Hearts 3.jpg
>>78072423
Kinda depressing how Phineas and Ferb's syaff did a lot better job with Marvel material than Marvel's own shows have,
Which version of this character do you prefer? Design-wise, aesthetic-wise, etc.
Maurecia is cool
>>78072705
But which design do you feel is better?
>>78072340
Left is a lot more distinct, I like it more.
Reminder that you will never be as sexy as Charlene Doofenshmirtz.
Stop, the FaF designs are not, and will NEVER be sexy.
>>78072026
I don't get this mentality; this is /co/.
People find everything from flat chested robots all the way to yellow, goggly-eyed creatures to noodly limbed monstrosities to non=anthropomorphic animals sexy.
Yet I don't ever really see people posting just to say stuff like this in XJ9 threads.
>>78072011
>has the cucumber slices over her glasses
Why don't Tony have a sidekick named Iron boy?
You'd think a playboy like him would at least have a couple of illegitimate sons.
>>78071604
His name should be Shotaro Kaneda
>>78071627
da fuq is this
Prove to me Geoff Johns isn't the definitive DC writer.
>>78071595
Because he's not Grant Morrison
You cant. Becuase he is the best.

/thread
Why is this cartoon so shit? This isn't what Bugs deserves.
>>78071583
because they thought people didn't like the last one but it actually was a very good series
>>78071652
LTS wasn't great but it was better than this.
>>78071667
I agree it wasn't great, but it was very good, even the muppets tried to mimic and took the good parts from it
Anyone else sick of this dumb post? Worst part is I can't even dispute it because the people that share it don't even read comics so they don't know shit.
> harley will never look like a clown again
> harley will never have her red and black color scheme again
> harley will forever look like a prostitute in a slutty cheerleader costume
> she will never get her accent back
I'm sick of all of it. Every single stupid sensationalist post about comics on the internet. It always gets spread everywhere and everyone believes it no matter what you say, even though they call themselves "nerds" as soon as you argue it they're suddenly too cool to care.
Just a typical pleb that hasn't actually read comics about the character at all and got all their information off the internet.
Nothing new.
Jeph shows us his knowledge on how businesses work.
It's almost reaching Heathcliff levels of non-jokes.
Webcomics are becoming just as bland, inoffensive and lazy as their syndicated forebearers.
THE DRAMA!
THE INTRIGUE!
THE HUMOR!

Says you, I am deeply offended that Prince Valiant exemplifies the bourgeois of the upper class and oppresses the proletariat of the masses.
Is there any hope that Marvel won't fuck up Black Panther? He's one of my favorites, and I don't want to allow myself to get hyped only to be crushed in the end.
>>78070631
His role in Civil War might be good, but his solo movie(s) will be trash.
>>78070631
even if hes trash, the movie will make a shit ton. He will then have solo movies that will also suck dick but hey who gives a shit, they make money.
>>78070631
Reports from one of those interviews from the set state that he fights on all fours most of the time, and marvel hasn't fucked up characterizations whenever Whedon or Thor aren't involved.
>Main characters bond with their friends throughout the movie or tv series
>they remained friendzoned while the main heroine/hero hook up with some dude that appears in the end or was always created just as a love interest
Picture hopefully not related but Sokka/Toph and Ino/Chouji are good examples that still annoy me greatly.
>>78069744
That's not the friendzone. That's just plain old friendship. Have you never had a friend?
>>78069925
Friends aren't real.

> pic hopefully not related
> i want a fox and a rabbit to have intercourse

dude.
I love Captain Marvel but I'm torn between two different interpretations of his character
1. The one where he has the Wisdom of Solomon and becomes very wise and smart when Billy changes into him because the idea of the child's innocent mind plus the wisdom of an adult turning someone into a moral paragon and force of good is really nice and also I think it's better when a hero like this is not stupid.
2. When he turns into Captain Marvel but is basically still just naive Billy trying to do superhero things with his child mind because having a character who can examine a child's notion of what it is to be a hero has potential for a lot of great stories.
What are your favourite Captain stories /co/ do they follow 1 or 2 I think there's lots of value in both I'm actually not torn between them at all they both have a place they're like silly Batman and serious Batman.
Wisdom isn't intelligence
>>78069731
It actually is. It's the application of knowledge and in Captain Marvel comics in particular Solomon's wisdom is also knowledge.
>>78069651
I always interpreted the wisdom of solomon as a sort of unfaltering conscience, that Billy still only had the intellect of a child but never fell into temptation and always made the morally "right" choice in situations where a child might not actually not which one is better.
>Speedball and Justice will be nothing more than background fodder
>Water Snake's entire deal will never be explained
>Aracely's story will never be resolved
>Kaine will never return
>Sun Girl, Haechi, Jake Waffles, and Mr. Whiskers were forgotten before the run even ended
>>78067731
>Speedball and Justice will be nothing more than background fodder
and nothing of value was lost
>>78067731
It Hurts...
Maybe he shouldn't have spent so long introducing the entire team on an overall lackluster opening arc.
Just a thought.
