So what are the good Rebirth titles so far? I am a flash fag and have only been reading Flash and Titans but Flash Rebirth is boring me and Titans is only once a month.
New Superman.
Red hood and the outlaws and Deathstroke are two of the very best Rebirth books.
I've also been enjoying Aquaman and Green Arrow.
I'm digging Rebirth Red Hood and the Outlaws. It's still the same guy writing it, but Artemis and Bizarro are a lot more likable than Roy or Starfire were in the last run. The writing itself is kinda goofy, but it's a lot less retarded and marginally less edgy.
It's going in a new direction, and I hope they keep it up.
Post things people freaked out over that turned out not to be that bad.
Then you start OP
Big time.
Back when this was first announced and had a one screenshot. Everyone pretty much changed their tune once the first trailer came out and said it looks pretty funny.

He means that talespin came first, right between Rescue Rangers and Darkwing, you 00s-era memer.
So Haru Nakajima, the man who played Godzilla until 1973, passed away. And I heard stories of some old fucker on /co/ eating the souls of those who passed? He now has the soul of fucking Godzilla.
Aww, poor guy.
Nah, Stan Lee only sucks the lifeforce of prominent American Celebrities and Comic Industry legends.
Haru escaped his clutches.

Post /co/ characters with big dicks.
In my opinion, Batman shouldn't be a member of the Justice League. Which sucks, because his friendships with Diana and Clark are some of his greatest character moments.
But he always feels out of place, ALWAYS. He's stealthy to the other 6's aggression, he's intelligent enough to lead but not inspiring enough and I think thusly Superman should lead. (Although both New52 and Rebirth have had good reasons why he doesn't).
Fundamentally he works best as a character when he's somewhere in between street-level and power-house. His stories are often personal, not to mention it makes no fucking sense when in certain series GCPD consider him a "vigilante" and yet the fucking U.S. Federal Government allows him and his Super Friends to do what they do.
Batman does not belong in the Justice League. But Robin does belong in the Teen Titans. Is there any way to have both?
I'm ambivalent on your Batman sentiment, but
>Batman does not belong in the Justice League. But Robin does belong in the Teen Titans. Is there any way to have both?
Yes? I don't see why there would be a conflict here. It's like how Superman is in the JL but Supergirl generally isn't in the TT (though the reasoning is mostly because LoSH was the place for Superkids historically so there was never a reason for Kara to be in the TT as it was basically just all the kid heroes who didn't have a place to be).
This is one of a million reasons that All Star B&R being cancelled is sad. They were tackling a lot of the issues with Batman being such an oddball in the group.
>>94487636
Why exactly was it cancelled? I can't imagine a series with Batman in the title wasn't making enough sales?
What is the best Scooby Doo movie and why is it Zombie Island?

Just set noir stories in space and make him a wandering, last-of-his-kind alien detective.
The DC Cosmic needs a book since GL is usually caught up in spectrum wars and the rest of the alien species tend to be earth-based.

How is this shit supposed to work exactly?
Another new episode is about to come on in about fifteen minutes. They always air a re-run first, but the re-run in question is already online.

The stream is here. I know this show isn't very popular and I don't expect that to change anytime in the near future, but I like it.

Thanks for making the thread as promised.

Not sure how long I should keep this up, though.
The episode was okay, I guess. They set the betrayal plot aside for now, since Valt told his friends, but the betrayal should still be happening. I just don't think it will be one of his immediate friends who betrays him. The new villain also said he works for somebody else, so maybe we'll get a break from Mungo and Da-Ming.
In three hours, the next episode airs. Trika visits her grandma for help on their quest, it seems.
I only vaguely remember this show
>humor was largely "Taz or someone gets hurt in comedic fashion"
>lots of pop culture references/parodies because early 90's cartoon
>the dad was basically Bob Hope
>bunch of side characters no one but creepy DeviantArt perverts bother to remember
>apparently people wanted to fuck the sister
Was this show any good?
I remember it being so-so.
This was sort of like the prototype for Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, The Looney Tunes Show, basically every Warner Brothers Animation comedy with animal characters. You can tell that they hadn't quite worked out the formula yet, but you could see hints of it developing as the show went on.
Something the show was good at was balancing a bunch of different subgenres at the same time. It was a domestic sitcom, a workplace sitcom, and a traditional Looney Tunes-style funny animal cartoon. Taz himself took on a number of different roles to accommodate the multifaceted nature of the show, which is rather impressive for a character who is essentially feral and never speaks beyond simple grunts. When at home, he was the underachieving adult son of a suburban family unit, still living with his parents and much younger siblings. When at work, he was the put-upon bellhop of the local hotel, hated by his abusive employer. When out in the wild, he was an actual Tasmanian Devil, pursued by both hunters and zoological researchers. You'd think that having the show be pulled in so many directions would cause a clash, but they always did a good job of making them feel like cohesive parts in the life of one single individual.

Are you enjoying the animated movies we've gotten this year?
Are you excited for the animated movies yet to come in 2017?

>Blazing Samurai
that's an actual movie? shiiit, that looked like a joke poster and I gave it no mind. It's not getting an actual theatrical release, is it?
And the only movie up there that I liked was Lego Batman, I really enjoyed that. I'm looking forward to Lego Ninjago despite knowing nothing about that franchise, but I've loved both Lego movies so I'm gonna watch it. I saw the emoji movie, it was kind of cute? But for the most part I hated it.
Lego batmanbwas fun but not as great as the lego movie. Cars 3 was unusually good and a good return to roots, didnt see any other movie beyond barely a second of the emoji movie after I decided to sneak in from atomic blonde to see what it looked like
>>94486660
Ninjago had a tv series on nickelodeon, not sure how true they'll stay to that though.
So what exactly are the rules for which franchises they're allowed to use?
>>94486295
If it was in the original they can use it
>>94486371
My Gym Partner's a Monkey wasn't in the original. Neither was Cow and Chicken.
>>94486295
From what I understand
If it's in the original: yes
If it was planned to be in the original or had concept art/data of being implemented into the original: yes
If it's currently running or might intersect with what CN currently has it's eyes on: no
Retro release fucking when
I'm really gonna miss this comic. final issue in two days
I think it's going at a good time. Second Semester wasn't as good (probably due to Fletcher < Cloonan), so it's better than overstaying its welcome.

amazing they survived long enough to be canceled and not murdered by the Joker in crossover.
