It was about these robotic(?) bugs (Tics mostly, IIRC) that lived inside computer chips, and kids used them to battle. There was even a tie-in game on their website.

It was this webseries on Youtube that was primarily 2D animation with a little 3D sometimes; short episodes, never more than 10 minutes. Was probably back in 2008/9/10.

This has been bothering me for literal YEARS. I have spent MONTHS ON END trying to find this shit. It's like it never existed.

QUESTION: what did /co/ think of the Rogue Cut edition of Days of Future Past?
13 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
There is a reason the rogue content was cut it didn't add anything to the main story
>>
>>83208163
It adds more good scenes to a good movie, but ultimately, it doesn't make it better, just longer.
>>
I've only seen the rogue cut and I had no problem with its pacing. I didn't love DOFP as much (not a fan of its genre but I respect X-Men) but it was certainly a great film to watch.

So, I just got finished reading Flashpoint for the first time. I'm a bit confused.

>Who is the cloaked woman in the middle in pic related?
"Her name is Pandora."
Keep reading Justice League (I guess. Volume 2 sucks. Also everything with Pandora sucks.) She had a short running ongoing. Dr. Manhattan killed her in DC Rebirth
>What happened to Barry in the middle of the panel? Why did it look like he was in pain?
He's being rebooted/Dr. Manhattan stole 10 years of times. That's the same as 2 5s. And that's terrible
>Is the Flash that talked to the Batman at the end the same Flash in Justice League Vol. 01: Origin?
Yes
>>
>>83208107
>Who is the cloaked woman in the middle in pic related?
Pandora, a character who they kept pretending would be relevant by making her appear sporadically throughout the nu52 early on and when it predictably failed she stopped appearing and kind of proved herself nothing more then the ridiculous attempt at making an OC nobody would ever care about important.

She was exploded (seemingly by Doctor Manhattan) in the first issue of Rebirth, cementing her overall irrelevance.

>What happened to Barry in the middle of the panel? Why did it look like he was in pain?
He stubbed his toe on a solid wall of editorial interference and unreasonable demands from a corporate parent company.

>Is the Flash that talked to the Batman at the end the same Flash in Justice League Vol. 01: Origin?
No, that would be Wally West (the former Kid Flash back in the 80's and Flash during most of the 90's and early 00's) who was basically erased from existence by Flashpoint and replaced with a similar-named character who was black because they wanted to racially inclusive and thought the best way to do that was creating a poorly-written shitty knockoff version and assuming "he's black now" was enough by itself for the character to be interesting.

Whomp Update

It's like how animals are the first ones to lash out at untrustworthy individuals. Our big dumb human brains can only perceive whether or not they have a knife in their hand. A beloved canine can see the knife in their heart. You could say that animals aren't always justified in their distrust, but I personally avoid someone who hides weaponry in their torso.

I don't know, but its just about the best X-Men has honestly ever been. Claremont is virtually unreadable, and the attempts at continuing his style of writing were flat as fuck.

Morrison actually giving mutants culture and making them modernized was a great idea. Why haven't runs since then even attempted at continuing his ideas?

>>83207579

>CN hasn't listened to the negative feedback
"As a Network Executive with a Master's in Business from Princeton, I firmly believe that it would be in our company's best interest to forsake our current economic model in favor of a non-target audience comprised of websites I have never heard of, who in totality comprise about 3-5% of our base at best, has multiple methods of pirating our content, and will not partake in any merchandising or statistics no matter the quality of our studio's productions."

How much do you royal subjects really care about the Queen? Like on a personal level.
>>
>>83207223
I'd wager most people don't care that much, but anyone who was alive during the Blitz fucking LOVES her. She took an extremely active role in supplying aid to the citizenry and was basically seen as a goddamn hero.

I just watched the entire Avatar: The Last Airbender series in three days. It was so perfect.

What all did they do so wrong with Korra? I can't put my finger on it.
50 posts and 8 images submitted.
>>
There was no filler in Korra and not enough episodes in general

There was no chance to develop these characters in scenarios that allow them to express other feelings other than the stressful and negatives ones caused by the antagonists. Everyone in Korra feels one note because they are forced to stick to those roles for the sake of plot progression.
>>
>>83206808
>It was so perfect.
Except the Deus Ex Machina end.
Lion Turtle out of no where to give Aang exactly what he needed to safe the day without having to compromise his moral beliefs.

What was wrong with Korra was that she never learned from her mistakes and she never really faced the consequences of them.
S1 was almost great if everyone depowered by Amon stayed that way.
And if she didn't defeat him by just yelling out, with no proof, that he's a liar.
That too was fucking stupid.

Incidentally, the issue with consequences is why Season 3 is really good. At least in my opinion
>>
>>83206865
This is a pretty good summary actually, every time we see those characters interact, there are high stakes and not a lot of room for just being themselves, whereas the Gaang had plenty of down-time for them to shine through as characters.
