So what do you think about the reveal that Wonder Woman has a twin brother /co/?
I assume Rucka will get into it since his first arc is about secrets and lies from Diana's past
Do you think Jason will be a hero or a villain? Will he be a cool guy or super serious? What do you want him to be? How do you want Diana to react to this info?
>>83229106
Jason is going to be a full on villain. Also gay because progressive.
>>83229106
that baby looks pretty dame black
>>8322913
That was a thing in the 90's though. unless he's not a villain.

I didn't know those Periwinkle shorts were pilots. I thought they were just meant to be short cartoons.

>Brevoort: I think another good parallel to what's going on right now is pretty clearly "Superior Spider-Man" -- particularly at the outset, where there were plenty of readers who were aghast at the idea that we would kill Peter Parker and Doc Ock would take over his body and be Spider-Man. And then in similar games of telephone, and people not looking at the comics but looking at the reporting on the comics, or what have you, it turns into "Spider-Man is raping Mary Jane, because Mary Jane doesn't know he's Doc Ock, this is terrible, Marvel is promoting non-consensual sex." The story wasn't any of that, and what drove a lot of that was just, people felt so strongly for Peter Parker, and were just afraid that he was going to be gone and ruined forever, and they'd never see him again. Once the storyline was closing, and once it was over, suddenly all these people materialized -- some of them the same people -- who were like, "Wow, that was the greatest thing ever, what a roller coaster ride." Part of it was, they could now feel comfortable to approach the story on its own level, because they didn't have to be worried about the ending -- they knew it would be OK. In essence, this is the argument of, "People want to have spoilers. They want to know how the movie ends." I don't really believe that; I think that's just a facile argument used by people who want to make a buck by spoiling things for other people. But there's some truth to the underlying idea that people can get so emotionally worked up about a story that they're experiencing that they can't actually enjoy it until they know everything turns out OK in the end.
He makes a good point. Why the retards always jump to false conclusions over a single page or cover?
>>83228260
because people like to feel triggered and oppressed which allows them to go on a soap box to make themselves feel better
>>83228260
It better not drag on for 30 fucking issues like Superior did, the fun wore off like half way through
>don't worry, obviously this isn't all there is on the matter, just pay $3.99 every month for the next year to find out why this panel isn't representative of the status quo of Captain America
Obviously a lot of the detractors are fucking idiots, let's not have any disagreement on that OP. Like burning copies of the issue, or making stupid arguents at the creators on twitter. Like, calm down and get a life.
But it's disenguous story-telling to present something serially, but disavow serial reactions to it.
Give me 1 (ONE) good reason why this wouldn't have worked. Both story-wise and for the characters.
It's too logical and wouldn't pander to SJW's for those precious shekels
Because they needed to shoehorn in a lesbian thing to be progressive, it retroactively saved the show by making two girls hold hands.
It would have worked just fine, but Bryke thought everyone hated Kataang for no reason and loved Zutara for no reason, so they tried to make Zutara this time instead.
> Why does he leave his head exposed to gunfire?
Because he wouldn't really mind getting killed.
>>83227991
He either doesn't plan on getting fired back at, or doesn't want to be weighed down/have his vision restricted by a helmet.
That, or no-helmet just looks cooler.
>>83227991
So he can scream like a little girl, "Not in the face!" and when criminals look away in disgust, he can shoot them in the back.
I'm so confused. Why didn't people like it? It was really entertaining, didn't butcher any characters, flowed well, had great performances, good aesthetics, honestly everything but Jennifer Lawrence was good or great.
>>83227928
I agree, anon. I really liked it too. But I didn't have any problems with Jennifer Lawrence desu.
>>83227928
It wasn't made by disney and fox can't pay for shitposters
>>83227928
I felt nothing when I saw Days of Future Past, and apathy at the last couple Wolverines, so nothing is really enticing me to want to see this one. It's been hard to give a shit since Xmen 3, I've been reboot-ready for years.
Marvel approaches you to make a Spider-Man crossover event The catch is that it's going to be a focused story, and will only feature 5 Spideys.
Which 5 Spider-Men do you put together for an event?

Should Star Wars and MCU crossover /co/?
>>83226933
No. Crossovers suck most of the time.
>>83226933
Yes. But wait until DC has an announcement coming.
>>83226933
Could be cool.
How do you feel about current CN programming? I see a lot of hate and a lot of love here.
>>83226380
Pure unadulterated crap. I personally hate every single show currently airing in its lineup.
>>83226380
>Good shows: Gumball
>Okay shows: SU, Clarence
>This is still on? shows: AT, RS, UG
I feel like AT should have ended back a few years ago. The only audience for it is stoners and 20+ people. My cousins (8 and 13) only care about TTG, Gumball, SU, and they like RS for some odd reason.
>>83226407
My general sentiments although as autistic and unpleasant as SU fans are, the show itself does a lot of things right from a production standpoint.
How do you think Kirby would have written Batman?
>>83226335
If pre O'neil? It would had been terrible, Kirby want very good when it comes to crime and mistery. And while batman travelling in time and in outer space was a big deal with batman in that era, i doubt Kirby, bot being really familiar with batman could had done something interesting.
Post-O'neil
Great, tell him that batman will travel to the middle east and you would had gotten a great story.
Kirby was based as fuck but usually limitated himself a lot on how much he knew about the character.
>>83226335
It probably be mostly about Batman traveling the galaxy eating delicious food and beating up creatures he doesn't understand.
It would probably very similar to his Bronze Age Black Panther and Captain America.
He'd ignore every other incarnation of the character and we'd strap in for Kirby's barely coherent, wild, time traveling, ancient alien battling, techno-porn, acid trip.
Cybersix Thread - "Fuck downloading, we have the series on DVD" edition
Haven't seen a thread for this gem in a while.
>>83226308
>You'll never hear the extended opening
>>83226326
You can, you just have to make it yourself. The DVD includes an instrumental version of the theme.
Was the books ever fully translated?
ITT: You're at Grandma's and she doesn't have cable.
If that's the case then I'll just read the stack of comics I brought.
You did bring comics, didn't you anon?
>>83226319
I left my backpack at school...
My grandma was the one who had cable while we didn't.
PBS and Saturday mornings were how I survived. I feel bad that I wasn't a kid who got to grow up with all the other cartoons.
Did anybody else get one of these?
They actually mailed it from Westchester. Nice touch.
>>83226162
How did you get this
>>83226227
I called the 1-800 number on that fake 80s commercial for the school with jubilee in it. And a recording of Stan Lee asked me for my address.
