The storytime continues!
>What's being storytimed?
Incorruptible and Irredeemable, two comics written by Mark Waid that focus around the idea of a Superman-type going crazy, and a supervillain trying to replace him.
>Why are you doing this?
Because I always wanted to do more storytimes. Plus, I broke down and bought that stupid 4chan pass after two issues worth of multi-image captchas, so I might as well make sure you all get my money's worth.
>Why this order?
Because the two titles cross over at a certain point before wrapping up, and I hate reading a story when I only know half the characters.
>Where can I catch up?

Is this the most disappointing comic of all-time?
>>83436435
That cover is really, really bad.
>expected a scifi adventure where low power heroes use their skills and brains to solve problems
instead get:
>magic
>deus ex machinas
>people coming back to life repeatedly
The Bendis vers has its issues but this is just as trash
>>83436435
>fresh off 52
>"hey guys! we're doing another weekly! Its called Countdown!"
52 weeks of shit. Everything was shit. the storylines, the tie ins, the twists. Everything
What's your dream Legends of Super Flarrow crossover event?
>>83436415
Something that brings Supergirl into the same universe as the others and includes high impact violent Felicity murder porn.
Crisis on Two Earths level not COIE level yet.
>>83436415
Music Meister.
>>83436594
Why do people even want Supergirl in the CW universe? To most she barely works well in her own, and I'd rather her stay on doing her own thing than being forced to deal with the same shot Arrow and Flash do. Not even shitting on Flash, just pointing out that it often suffers from the same pointless drama that ruins Arrow.
>>83436415
They all team up to kill Felicity
So while Civil War II may have high preorders on the Diamond chart for June, how well is it selling in stores?
I know four tweets are hardly indicative of a trend but I find them deeply satisfying anyway
>>83435996
I mean we've said it before but in the end they probably won't matter. At the very least damage will be done by Preorders being successful.
>>83435953
>there are actually stores that are not run by drones
Feeling good man
I'd never read Watchmen before despite hearing all about it for years, especially after the movie came out. I just finished reading it in anticipation of seeing how they'll be depicted in the DCU after all the Rebirth stuff settles down.
So, after having read Watchmen, and going back and reading the Rebirth issues, i'm having a hard time connecting the dots. Why would Batman find The Comedian's badge in his cave? While The Comedian's actions did influence the majority if not arguably all of the plot points in Watchmen, I don't see the reason why his badge, his symbol, was what was shown to introduce the Watchmen in the DCU barring the obvious real world reason of the smiley badge being the logo for all Watchmen related media. I guess it would have difficult to keep the hype up by just saying "someone else" over and over again until Dr. Manhattan was officially revealed, which leads me into my next question.
Are we supposed to come to find that Dr. Manhattan created the DCU after his final words with Ozymandias? Or did he stumble upon the DCU and meddled with it, leading to the 10 year removal?
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I will download it and watch it in the next couple of days. For now, how about another Rebirth speculation thread?
Also why was Laurie so horny all the time wtf after seeing New York destroyed and its people dead she just wants to fuck.
>>83435897
>barring the obvious real world reason of the smiley badge being the logo for all Watchmen related media
That's the only reason it was used because it's the recognizable symbol for the comic
>>83435946
Well, that's just a cop out if you ask me. I'm not liking this "reboot but not really" shit DC is trying to pull. Not to mention them making Supes' costume worse in the process.
>>83435897
Manhattan retconned the DC Universe into the New 52 just because he's a dick. That's all there is to it.
Can /co/ redpill me on this character? Why is she hated and does she have ANY good comics?
>>83435748
She has several decent comics, but nothing particularly great.
/co/ hates her because for the past few years not counting the post Secret Wars her writer absolutely fucking sucked as hard as its possible.
>>83435748
Redpill means to inform one of a truth held by a minority of people. What you are asking for is just general information or a consensus.
>>83435795
In addition to this, Marvel has been shilling her like crazy in an attempt to create a Wonder Woman that they have film rights to.
New It Hurts, lads.
Featuring the return of the King of Rock and Roll.
No, not Johnny Cash. The other one.
>>83435672
>cheese forgive me tag
>>83435982
I feel like peppering that into my vocabulary.
>>83435992
Already have, here and there.
>Be a (human) parent in the Marvel Universe
>teenage daughter starts showing signs of superpowers (your choice of powers)
>The next day this dude in a wheelchair shows up with a bunch of ridiculously hot women in skintight outfits . shows you his business card, and says your daughter is a powerful mutant
>The only way your daughters powers can be controlled is if she is allowed to board in his school, and under his erm... 'tutelage' for a few years, you can can still visit on weekends of course, if you make an appointment
>All you have to do is sign the form
What do you do /co/?
>>83435406
I ask him what color is his wheelchair
Send her to Scott's school.
>>83435406
Agreee, becaause the Professorrr is alwayys riiiight...
...then forget I everrr had a daaaughterrr...
... uuumm ... What were we talking about?
So overall how did you like Grayson? Would you recommend to others?
Depends on the person if I'd recommend it or not. I liked it, but it's not for everyone, and it wasn't like a 10/10 comic, just a fun one.
pretty gay
Was super into it until the creative team changed. The ending was weak.
However, Seeley is writing Nightwing, so I've got high hopes.
Where did it go wrong?
At the start
when they added the baby
>>83435079
Probs around the time the dog came in, or the baby, because at that point it felt kinda crowded
The dog catcher can't get into Heathcliff's truck.
What's the joke?
>>83434845
He knows Heathcliff is trying to lure him into a rape trap and is trying to justify why he's unwilling to get in without making Heathcliff suspicious and possibly violent
>>83434845
Heathcliff revels in the surreal. You're quite unlikely to see a dog catchers truck with such large wheels. In fact, those kinds of wheels are exclusively used for monster trucks or larger construction vehicles, neither of which would apply to Heathcliff's truck.
As an aside, Heathcliff would appear to be on the wrong side of the road, assuming the strips take place in the United States of America which is the most likely assumption. If this is a mistake on Gallagher's part or if he's simply making a subtle joke, I cannot ascertain. Cats do not usually drive trucks so it would be a logical conclusion that he is not well versed in traffic laws. However Heathcliff has been shown driving several different kinds of vehicles prior, including helicopters so it's safe to assume he would be able to handle a simple truck, oversized wheels or not.
Too soon, Marvel Puzzle Quest. Too. Soon.
>>83434299
What am I looking at here
>>83439066
You're looking at the War-Machine Vs. Event on Marvel Puzzle Quest. A 21-Gun salute is usually given to those who have died. Rhodey apparently dies in Civil War 2.
Are you ready, /co/?
Finally Snyder did something right. I can't wait for #Olicity to hit the big screen.
FUCK FELICITY
>>83434290
Don't fuck Felicity, she'll take over your show
okay, help me out. what is "rebirth", and do i need to follow it?
>>83434227
The revelation that the new 52 wasn't a reboot and is in fact the same universe from preflashpoint that was changed by Dr. Manhattan into what it is today.
It also served as a way to bring preFP Wally West and Superman back into continuity. It's being used as a way to bring back some of the lore of the DCU.
You don't have to follow it, but so far the one shot and the Superman and Green Arrow tie ins have been pretty good.
>>83434227
See, y'all are giggling about how Jason probably has a boner right now, but all I can think of is that I miss when Diana was pretty consistently portrayed as friendly and considerate.
>tfw based Rucka made it a point to mention that Diana's a nice girl
WW Rebirth just keeps becoming more appealing.

Next week my nigga

looks pretty good, I've been reading them since I was on /b/ in 2006
