Empire State: A Love Story (Or Not)

This is slice of life story, so no body jumping or murders.

DC fan here. I've read a lot of Spider-man and a few X-men comics but I'm confused as to how the X-men can coexist in the Marvel world without everyone labeling the other heroes as Mutants. I'm sure there have been threads on this but I've missed them. Besides the obvious ones like Iron man, or Captain America, how can the public or the government tell or discriminate which heroes are Mutants and which are just people with super powers? Has anyone like Jameson or Kingpin tried call Spider-man a mutant or anything? Or hell what about the Hulk or the Fantastic Four? The people hating one group and not all doesn't seem to make any sense.
Mutants haven't really made sense since like the 80s.
>>83453072
You probably never read stories when Avengers got shit for having mutant members. You also missed the part when Spider-Man was called a mutant menace. You also missed the part when Reed Richards had to hide his son from the mob
>>83453072
Grnat Morrison realized it was retarded and gave us a solution: there's a sentient extraterrestrial bacteria that can control humans without an X-Gene, so it instills an inherent genetic hatred for X-Gene carriers so that it can achieve total world domination.
One of his most underrated contributions to comcis tbqh.
How is the MCU so popular if more than half of the movies are garbage?
There are only 2 good Star Wars movies and look how crazy fuckers are about that
(we can argue 3 but c'mon guys)
People are stupid and have awful taste
You're asking this when Transformers is one of the best selling franchises of all time.
Name ONE interesting black super hero
Protip:You fucking can't.

Post'em boys
James Gunn recently posted this from the set of GotG2.
He has already stated previously that no Avengers will appear in the movie.
Could we be in store for someBeta RayThrills?
Better question, whens his next Not Superhero movie?
This is his fourth one, needs a break tbqh
Doesn't Beta Ray have to be set up in a Thor movie though?

Don't you mean his third?
How would you handle her?
Fuck her right in the pussy.

The worst part about being a professional corporate tickler is the occasional request for you to put your face on their belly and blow, making amusing poot noises. Sir, I went to Harvard Tickling School for 8 years with a 4-year internship. I can't just do something like that for an extra 50 bucks, because I am not yet certified for that treatment.
wait, the old man hired roonie for tickle him?
the gay inuendo is not subtle this time.
I want Ronnie to tickle me

DISCUSS.
Bloo is a dick.
>>83452111
What is there to discuss?
What did Berry feel like? Was she, like, a gelatinous creature or was she solid?
So I read this and.. what the fuck is this sequence supposed to mean? Like, what is the thought process here?
Frank clearlyhas no idea about the girl in question - her family, her background, he doesn't even know how fucking old she is, for christ sake! He doesn't know if he is right now sending her back to family that is abusive or violent, he doesn't know whether maybe her daddy raped her or whored her out to his friends so she decided to at least get paid for it - nothing. She just looks young, so let's save her in most patronizing way possible, yay!
Hell, for all we know she's actually an ex-porn star who's actually close to 30 but looks young because of botox, and wanted a change of career. He knows NOTHING about her.
I mean - it's not like this pimp is abusing her or something, since if he did, he'd long be dead - especially since his friend, pictured, is one of his hookers. So what the shit?
I mean, I though entire point of Punisher was that he plans his shit out to work efficiently and doesn't act rashly, and doesn't pretend like he's some saviour who can save the world by doing good deeds like saving cats from trees or some shit like that.
I mean, was it a good deed? It's just a stupid act of being self righteous, how is it any differnet from some wanker in spandex deciding not to kill even to save a hostage because muh precious moral code? It's bullshit, that's what it is. Does he get off on it or something? It makes no fucking sense.
I mean, if there was at least some justification, like some insight into Frank's mind implying she reminds him of his daughter or something, but nothing.
What is this shit? This is completely out of character for Frank? When all of /co/ was collectively jizzing itself over Punisher Max I thought it was gonna be good, instead of poignant shit like "The Punisher saves this stupid whore from her gender foolish ways, Blessed He Be!".
>>83452078
Frank isn't always a "meticulously plan shit out" kinda guy. Occasionally he runs across shit he doesn't approve of and deals with it in the Frankest way possible. It might not always be the most objectively correct and best solution to the problem, but I don't think Frank really cares, especially with shit like this. He sees a girl under 18, father instincts automatically kick in. Doesn't matter who the fuck this chick was, what her story was, or anything.
Frank isn't perfect and he's not gonna just solve that girl's life. But he certainly wasn't just gonna let that shit pass by.
I don't think comics are for you.

Whatever helps him sleep at night.

Bump
>>83450661
the ending was nice though
i was in the same box, so to speak, but my parents explained all along that they appreciated me.. and they were glad i was better than the shitty masses, even if it was exhaustingly complicated having a kid like me
>>83450661
I am 100% certain that that episode was exactly as depressing as intended. I might only think that way because I strongly identified with Daria's damage when I was a teenager, though.
